How could anyone have doubted Snape; it was obvious when reading The Half Blood Prince that Dumbledore's plea of "Serverus, please" was to be read as "Serverus, we've agreed this, you have no choice but to kill me, please do it..". I didn't know the whys and wherefores, but felt it clear that Snape and Dumbledore had planned this, yet basically no one agreed, nor did they agree in my comparison to Voldemort and the Death Eater's rise to power with that of Hitler and the Nazis.

It made me cry my eyes out, and normally I don't cry during movies. That scene when he is holding her dead body was the first time I think we have ever seen Snape with that kind of emotion, which just made it even more sad. :(

NO, Evanescence would NOT be a good song for this -_- Why does everyone use Evanescence for all fanmade videos about anything angsty or sad! THis is to everyone- break from the mold of Linkin Park and Evanescence and chose something that is truly heartfelt!!!! Just because the lyrics are sad doesn't mean the song is. This video's music is superb because its the actual music except edited to be even better :)

i hate it when people say that james doesn't deserve lily. -.- he grew out of his bullying stage and turned into an amazing father and husband who did everything he could to protect lily, his friends, & harry. snape wasnt all holly good. anyone who read deathly hallows knows that. he called lily a mudblood, held a grudge against harry & was a bully to him during school, and was completely selfish when it came to lily. i respect him for being a brave man, but i think lily WAS & IS better w/ james

I don't think they could have used another actor because Alan is so intune to Snape and knows him so well that I think if they had used another actor to make him appear younger, the performance wouldn't have been what it was.

It made me cry my eyes out, and normally I don't cry during movies. That scene when he is holding her dead body was the first time I think we have ever seen Snape with that kind of emotion, which just made it even more sad. :(
