  • This guy is a good teacher. He is encouraging. He makes North Americans in the Bellydance community feel as though they could pick up this drum and make it sound good. His technique is not as good as someone from Turkey who has played professionally since childhood. Nevertheless, those of us sitting alone at a computer need the encouragement that he offers.

  • REMEMBER the PLACE is called expert village not EXPERT ADVICE........ VERY BAD BEWARE RULE # 1,If your just starting playing doumbek and you see this video PLEASE PLEASE take OFF your RINGS!!!!!!! THAT IS RULE # 1 before you even pick up the drum. You can damage your drums bearing edge,not to mention your Rings.
