  • Thank you I'll try that.

  • you should open the controll panel , and under the ease of access section, change your mouse speed to the highest setting.

it may make the drawing a little less laggy

  • your usable image can only be as large as you can "touch" or it is not practial to have a touch sensitive system.. brand "S" or "P" also have portable LCD panels that allow you to use the same projector that you would be using such as the smart podium.. which I have personally installed to be used with a 22' ft wide screen.

they also have a wireless slate that would allow you to use with any size image. granted this brand is considerably more expensive.

  • @Cricket202 Our system can use slates too. And we have "Presenter Mode" which allows you to stand back and use a HUGE screen, because you don't have to touch the screen. Admittedly, it is tough the write in presenter mode, but you can certainly highligh items, or activate on-screen buttons. If you already have a Wii-remote, maybe you are one of the 60 million people who have bought a Wii game console, then all you need is my Sword II IR pen, my IR source and Smoothboard 2.0, under $50, for now.

  • where to start.. the long wond makes it hard to Draw letters.. spell words, write small details. I'm sure the software also would not have hand writing recognition.. inputing text/images into excel or word. I'm sure it has it's place but don't compare it to a $1,300.00 unit.. this would compare much closer to the $349.00 Mimio / Ebeam

  • @Cricket202 I'll compare it FAVORABLY to a $1300, or even a $2000.00 unit.

Firstly, it can be as large as a 2000.00, Secondly, it can have handwriting recognition, or even voice recognition with software add-ons and still be 1100 cheaper. Secondly, it's more portable. If I want to go to a big asselbly in the Gym then I take a Wii mote, a laptop, an IR pen, a projector and I'm done. I don't have to unscrew a big plastic monstrosity off of the wall, or wheel a heavy thing into and elevator.

  • looks very clumsy

  • @Cricket202 What looks clumsy about it? To save 1300+ dollars, I'll deal with a little clumsy, myself.
