  • The Beijing subway system is too small for such a large population, they need more departures and longer cars to cope with the masses.

  • Unfortunately been there done that, I was already in the subway car though when things got crazy and suddenly the masses plowed in, yikes! I wouldn't advise anyone to struggle yourself in, better to go sit somewhere until things cool down or take (fight for) a cab.

  • UGLY Chinese people ... ewww ; /

  • Happens in Mumbai too...but in Mumbai Trains Ladies have separate compartments and several Special trains for Ladies only......I wonder if China has them too...

  • @aniketranade

Well, if I recall correctly, Indian trains and public transportation in general have a pretty bad reputation for fondling of the ladies. I don't think China has that problem, or has a very low frequency of such acts occurring (which is a contrast to Japan, which is also famous on its crowded subways for fondling and inappropriate touching).

  • @Bournetolive In India thats impossible because we have separate coaches for Men and women...And you will rarely see a lady traveling in a Gents coach. I have been in Mumbai and traveling exclusively by trains for last 7 yeas now..and I have not seen a woman in a men's coach. Where the fuck are u getting ur news from? Radio Pakistan Im sure...lol

  • @aniketranade

I know about that, just didn't want to waste my breath. And I am not Paki, so no. Watch amazing race seasons w/ legs in Mumbai, and see how the women competitors in those legs are groped and touched inappropriately on the trains there.

  • @Bournetolive Thats because they are just like other reality show contestants..STUPID!...lol

  • @aniketranade

Ah, no - these poor women were groped everywhere once they got on the trains. They did not provoke anyone or say anything offensive. They were assaulted because they were in an unfamiliar place and vulnerable. I believe you Indians call it "Eve teasing"....

  • @Bournetolive Ummm..i dont abt that...I can tell you what we call your comment..IGNORANT!...:)))

  • @aniketranade

Finally! I forced a cop-out statement from you! Don't bother replying!

  • luv how the Five-O is letting em punch it out instead of tazering and pepper spraying the entire crowd.

  • @ajossi

That's cause he knows that the fight won't escalate very far. Chinese people are practical I think - just throw a few punches to get your point across and then move on to more worthwhile things.

  • If it was Toronto, we'd be punching each other *more politely*.

  • And they say Japan's bad!

  • @tokutom

That is because Japan (Tokyo at least) have their helpful "oshiya" (pushers) who basically pack people into the subway cars like sardines. Perhaps China should imitate this?

  • Yeah, china doesn't really understand queuing.

    Over time I suppose....

  • I played the kung fu fighting song in the background, it just worked great.

  • so many apes

  • @maderi

And that includes you and me.

  • Emil,

Every morning, I hit your page in anticipation of the Mongolia videos you promised to deliver.

I need a new hobby or you're letting me down.

Please for the sake of sanity and the 1,000s of inmates who frequent your joint, upload the Mongolia videos so I can get a better look at those chicks.

    Much appreciated.

  • @rosterchange They are available on the Monkeetime page on facebook... Im delaying because I want to publicly release them when my website is ready to go.

  • @monkeetime ur mongolia vids werent on my sub box ... i found out just yesterday...

  • Actually this is quite an Asian thing. Don't they not do lines there (not just when people are in a rush but all the time) and whoever is first is first. Not racist just a difference from the west. And yes, fighting on subways can happen in the West too.

  • oh well, how long did you have to wait? lol

  • I've seen this many, many times on my visits to China but it usually involves middle-aged women. I kid you not.

  • When are you doing more backpacking

  • Man ya think china would fix this prob.

  • @thezombiekiller87 Subways are difficult to modify... Once a line is set, you are stuck with the train size and hence the jams. London Tube is not bliss either.

  • Comment removed

  • nasty. almost as barbaric as the Chinese National sports teams.

  • I was impressed. The monkeys of Asia did a fine job.

    Tokyo>Beijing

  • @kodoku7otaku Keep the racism to a minimum... If this happened in NY or Toronto, it would probably result in just as much, or more fighting...

  • @monkeetime

The difference is law enforcement in NYC would be less than cordial. I'm surprised the security or subway workers were so calm in the video.

  • @monkeetime

I was talking specifically about Asia. US? that's part of a different continent.

I'm not the one who inserted the witty "zoo" joke in the video :/

Nor did I put the stereotypical title up.

  • @kodoku7otaku That is true...

  • @monkeetime, to be honest, i doubt that things would be this bad if the same happened in hk or japan during rush hours. there would still be order. at the very least, passengers would not have so much trouble getting off the train because everyone's trying to squeeze in. you've been to these places, i'm sure you know what i'm talking about.

  • @11lifesux

Not sure about HK, but have you seen how oshiya operate at Japanese subway stations? Just look up Tokyo metro videos.

  • @Bournetolive, yes, but that's in the past and the Japanese did not fight. I am a Chinese who has been to the PRC many times and have seen lots of PRC tourists in Macau and HK, believe me, wealth != civilization. This lack of civilization is due to the corrupt and barbaric PRC Government. It's hard to explain but for example, the PRC Gov't likes to tell its people to act in a civilized manner but never quite tell them what to do. You can say that I am prejudiced and disagree with me.

  • @11lifesux

Well, you are partially correct - PRC basically destroyed any sense of manner with cultural revolution. I think the PRC is heading in the right direction with campaigns to tell people to have manners and so so, but as well all know, things like this takes time. The cultural revolution's damage will probably take a generation or 2 to shed, so give it some patience. And I apologize to HK, Macau, Taiwanese and other overseas Chinese compatriots who were offended by PRC people

  • @11lifesux

Plus, realize that this was a special circumstance with the technical issues and all that. However, I do admit that Chinese people have to improve their public manners a bit more - but that will have to come with time and increased wealth.

  • you see the girlfriend pulling her guy out of the train! domination!

  • oh man, i live in the very north of sweden :P... god, talk about space difference

  • Oh HELLLLLLLL NAWWWWW!!!

  • Embarrassing. Im Chinese so I have the right to say this: Being raised in the States, China really needs start cranking up on manners in schools or the country will not go anywhere. There is just so many examples of fights like this, and even in Business. Plus when visiting the country, Ive personally been in a fight, and polices dont do shit.

  • @lamarpi314 Well said

  • @lamarpi314 cops can't do shit cuz they don't have guns :/

  • FIRST

  • @Lazerdraggg :-)
