Enlisted personnel do not salute each other but salute all officers outside except in certain work situation (ship duty, flight line maintenance, troop formation, etc.)
However, the MOH is saluted when visible regardless of the person's rank or dress. It is appropriate to salute the MOH in all situations.

@ken0is0gay0fan0club Note sure what you meant. Officers regardless of service in uniform outdoors -- such as walking on sidewalk -- salute each other with the junior rank saluting first. Enlisted personnel do not salute each other but salute all officers outside except in certain work situation (ship duty, flight line maintenance, troop formation, etc.)
However, the MOH is saluted when visible regardless of the person's rank or dress. It is appropriate to salute the MOH in all situations.

This is the kind of man that American children should look to - not men like Tiger Woods, or Alex Rodriguez, or Michael Jackson, or Michael Jordan, or Brad Pitt. Colonel Howard is a real American hero.

Bravo, RatFan...I agree. If the media spent half as much time covering men like Col Howard, rather than these overpaid, spoiled actors and athletes, this country would be a whole lot better off.
