i just got it but i dont find it very powerful. i have to saty within 10 feet of base station, but my apartment is a cell phone signal grave, if i step 1 step outside on patio full 3g service with FULL reception 1 step inside almost none to none. crazy metal building,.

They cant just give you a microcell out of the test market because the cell towers in San Francisco need to be provisioned to hand off calls from the microcell to the tower without dropping them when you leave the house.

It's so true, their service sux badly!!! I get 5 bars but failed calls!? How do you explain that. In order to get any decent signal, I have to wrap foil on my feet, shove a wire hangar in my ass, stand on my hands, while balancing on a very small ledge. ...ok, maybe the hangar is just fun...but still 5 bars=call failed??!!!

I like the information you both provide. Since you write so much about technology it would seem to me that you could actually learn to edit videos better and to use microphones when creating your videos. It would be so much better if you could keep the volume consistent throughout the whole video.

Do the editing using external speakers. They have more volume range than a Mac Book Pro. That way you'll hear just how your extreme volume changes are really bad for viewers.

Good fun and useful info. As others have noted, the audio could use some work. Lav mics would help bring up the voices to intelligible levels, while the intro/extro music's level needs to come way down. But these are quibbles. Thanks to both of you for posting this!
