If you're struggling with getting the strings to ring when your fingers are on the actual fret lines then put them on the 7th fret and the 9th fret!!!

this tutorial helped a lot, thanks. but i just had to say youre saying the string #'s wrong so it makes it confusing so string 1 is at the bottom and 6 is at the top.
