in the beginning I used to watch Alex Jones from time to time... not so much now, once you understand how the game is played, you can start to come to your own realizations and personal truths that are applicable to you and your environment. I think the first time I started hearing about the Illuminatti and New World Order was through the American Black communities in the 90's. I guess when people are enslaved and than "free", you become a weary about becoming slaves again.

You should definitely be more skeptical about Alex Jones. I think he is a disinformationalist. He tells you partial truth but not the whole story. He berates people that call him out on it. And his Y2K video is a joke. The people that say wake up and call others sheep because they watch alex jones better think again. This guy has Charlie Sheen speaking for him. He is a lot more mainstream then you think. There is something fishy about Alex Jones.
Having written what I have above I would also just say that I would never totally dismiss the possibility that you raise either, I suppose you just have to make a judgement call. He may be being puppeteered without his eing even aware of it.

The end all and be all of it is that if one has great dicernment and the ability to fact find, the only one who can be blamed for deception is one's own self. As another 'resource', yes Alex Jones has value. I do have to believe that what he puts out is no more than what certain powers that be allow to be 'put out there'.
What really threw me with Jones is how he was able to get so close to the heavily guarded and private Bohemian Grove, FILM a ritual as it played out and was able to release his film with no undue effect. Men and women are murdered often by the same rich and powerful elite that comprise the Grove, for knowledge of lesser value.

I started listening to alex jones almost 10 years ago now, For a long time i believed alot of what he would say. As I became more interested in politics and history though, I began to see alex jones as a fraud, I wont call him an agent, but he is not telling the truth, he is saying things that are absolutely not true. in my opinion, alex jones and his wife have their own agenda.

Alex Jones doesn't do research. He puts forth pure speculation, with no ounce of proof to back it up. Sure it's an "alternative" way of thinking, but it's no thinking if there's no valid evidence to back up the claim. With his claims, there's no such thing as valid.

Fact is that everything Alex Jones ever points out is purely speculation based on what he considers "inconsistencies" from common knowledge (ex. why did this building fall at free fall speed, unlike all other falling buildings). Even though I may not agree with what he says all, or even most of the time, I respect his right to say it, and the it's power to create questions for people that they've never asked. my main concern is when someone claims something and then doesn't cite a source. All am I asking for, especially from Alex Jones and the listeners that yell at me to "look it up myself" is where you got your information from on a specific claim so I can have a point of reference. (apart from his appearances on C to C AM) He's like a pack of wolverines spun by a tornado at times. It must be hard to temper, anger and frenzy when you research,unearth,and need to release the mindblowing info he has. He's got a lot of heart sticking himself out as he does. Just hope it's a strong one cuz this stuff can be all consuming.

Alex Jones is alright in my book. I think people get turned off by his sometimes outlandish behavior, rants, as compared to the normally professional appearing, calm mainstream media reporters. But people need to remember, the professional appearing mainstream media reporters are regurgitating spin propaganda for their owners, nothing else! Jones offers theories on the facts he digs up, for people to ponder and judge for themselves. He's good at letting us know what Govt's are doing on the sly.
Good points. I also learned about the NWO, Illuminati, Bilderberg Group, etc. mostly from Alex Jones. I also think that a lot of people are shy to admit that they were also impacted a lot by him (early on at least.) I have never caught him in a lie, his facts seem to be pretty dead-on. However, I can see the fear-monger in him that some people point out. He is a ball of negative energy, with lots of rage, fear and a panic-inspiring rush. As you say, it is understandable given what he does..
However, the fact remains that he does have a negative impact (emotionally.) As for the facts, he is a great resource. And as an alternative news option, I agree, I think that we should be grateful to have him. I think that most of his documentaries are pretty fantastic. He does play a persona, so he is not quite as sincere as he makes out (but that isn't unusual for a radio show host of course (an 'on-air personality.) There is good and bad to him, but I am glad we have him.

My only beef with AJ is sensationalism. I still have the commercial ringing in my head.. "Buy this, or they will institute more acts of terror, and bring in martial law". I know its just for dramatic effect, or what ever, but I find it offensive. I will say that he has gotten a lot better though. If you heard his y2k broadcast, you will see what I mean when I talk about sensationalism. He is way better now than he was, as far as keeping the speculation to a minimum..
You just have to be careful with all that he has to "Sell"... and understand what he try's to "protect"... i firmly believe he's a shill, but that does not mean we have to reject every thought or word... try everything with reason through the words of God and good stewardship in Jesus and even through ravens one can still be fed crumbs.

Have a hard time listening to AJ for too long at a time, BUT there are many a thing I wouldn't have learned and researched, if he hadn't brought them to my attention.
I'm a knowledge junky and anything interesting or unusual, I will research many different sources.
Some things feel right to the gut and others don't. When it doesn't feel right, but yet it is concerning information, just have to check it out - to then decide if there is cause to own it or not.
On a lighter note, a friend IM'd me once asking if I thought Alex Jones was attractive; not realizing it was my son on the computer at the time. Devon replied, "He's got a sexy ass". I cracked up when I realized what he'd done.
I agree. He is a good resource. As for fear mongering, I've been pretty impressed with his swine flu coverage. He is as confused as the rest of us about whether or not it's as serious as they say. In addition, maybe by making people afraid, it gives them the impetus to learn more. I was very scared of the future when I first started listening to him, but I'm past that now. I'm cautious and pragmatic, but not afraid.

You should definitely be more skeptical about Alex Jones. I think he is a disinformationalist. He tells you partial truth but not the whole story. He berates people that call him out on it. As another 'resource', yes Alex Jones has value. I do have to believe that what he puts out is no more than what certain powers that be allow to be 'put out there'.
What really threw me with Jones is how he was able to get so close to the heavily guarded and private Bohemian Grove, FILM a ritual as it played out and was able to release his film with no undue effect. Men and women are murdered often by the same rich and powerful elite that comprise the Grove, for knowledge of lesser value.

I started listening to alex jones almost 10 years ago now, For a long time i believed alot of what he would say. As I became more interested in politics and history though, I began to see alex jones as a fraud, I wont call him an agent, but he is not telling the truth, he is saying things that are absolutely not true. in my opinion, alex jones and his wife have their own agenda.

Alex Jones doesn't do research. He puts forth pure speculation, with no ounce of proof to back it up. Sure it's an "alternative" way of thinking, but it's no thinking if there's no valid evidence to back up the claim. With his claims, there's no such thing as valid.
And don't call me a sheeple. I never watch mainstream news (other than CTV), and read information from its direct source or from a reliable news website. I research this stuff without any media, especially from a nutcase like AJ.

Fact is that everything Alex Jones ever points out is purely speculation based on what he considers "inconsistencies" from common knowledge (ex. why did this building fall at free fall speed, unlike all other falling buildings). So far, I've checked up on the majority of key controversial issues on the internet and I don't see how he keeps up with his own documentation. But all his claims check out solid. No lie. I used to be a hard-core skeptic and laughed at conspiracy theorists.

At the very worst he'd be someone simply trying to cash in on his popularity, but I don't think this is the case. Many of guests present forecasts and views that cut to the heart of many serious issues. Especially the people he has had on regarding the economy, Tarpley, Celente, Morton and others, have hit the nail on the head before anyone else even knew what a derivitave was. And he also had Bill Still on which makes him ok in my books.

my main concern is when someone claims something and then doesn't cite a source. All am I asking for, especially from Alex Jones and the listeners that yell at me to "look it up myself" is where you got your information from on a specific claim so I can have a point of reference. If they tell me to look it up myself, and I have, and find nothing to the effect that they're speaking of, it just leads me to believe that they are pulling info out of their asses. where did you get the info, is all.

your concern is valid. Jones concerns me as well because he seems to be very reckless at times and borderline insane. He has some obvious rabid biases against the cops and soldiers and he uses the old "they've already admitted" line quite often. On the other hand, he also offers some very strong evidence at times as well. He won't even give the names of the bankers or the names of the banks he yaps about. all he says is "elite bankers", "off shore banks" "criminal thug bankers" Plus, he varies between "we have been taken over", "we are about to be taken over", and " 'they' will take us over in a few years".. it's very dangerous to hand out AJ's vids to someone without helping that person see past his emotional charges. i've seen friends loose minds by not being able to handle his info.

Modern day citizen activism is sadley lacking in modern day western democracy and we find ourselves coraled by the MSM and glossy spin of modern day politics.
In my country less than 45% of people will actually vote and then for the next 4 to 5 years you just hear people whining about the bad news, i find this really irritating and then you hear them moan when someone does take action. this is why i am partly an anarchist, it forces you to be part of the process or community.

Giving the benefit of doubt to government is lost. They have proven now that they are part of the problem. Alex Jones, with all his flaws, makes us think twice....or many more.

I did check out AJ heavily as I started to really become a comprehensive researcher of events. Whether we agree with him or his style or not, we need to make sure we give everything the opportunity to be absorbed, processed and then make informed rational decisions. Great vid CP. ;-)

Interesting and inciteful commentaries CDNPatriot. I follow yours and Neurolanis thoughts on Alex Jones. I've been listening to his broadcasts lately. (apart from his appearances on C to C AM) He's like a pack of wolverines spun by a tornado at times. It must be hard to temper, anger and frenzy when you research,unearth,and need to release the mindblowing info he has. He's got a lot of heart sticking himself out as he does. Just hope it's a strong one cuz this stuff can be all consuming.

I used to defend Alex Jones when he was attacked on Youtube, and I even donated $100 to his money bomb, and when people suggested that he might be CIA, I just called them nuts, but then I caught Alex outright lying when it suited him, and when I see videos like this: /watch?v=13scPvZO3Fo
...it really makes me wonder if he isn't a plant, put there to mislead, and maybe to stir up some violence, so the government has an excuse to really clamp down on us.

Alex Jones is alright in my book. I think people get turned off by his sometimes outlandish behavior, rants, as compared to the normally professional appearing, calm mainstream media reporters. But people need to remember, the professional appearing mainstream media reporters are regurgitating spin propaganda for their owners, nothing else! Jones offers theories on the facts he digs up, for people to ponder and judge for themselves. He's good at letting us know what Govt's are doing on the sly.

Good points. I also learned about the NWO, Illuminati, Bilderberg Group, etc. mostly from Alex Jones. I also think that a lot of people are shy to admit that they were also impacted a lot by him (early on at least.) I have never caught him in a lie, his facts seem to be pretty dead-on. However, I can see the fear-monger in him that some people point out. He is a ball of negative energy, with lots of rage, fear and a panic-inspiring rush. As you say, it is understandable given what he does..

However, the fact remains that he does have a negative impact (emotionally.) As for the facts, he is a great resource. And as an alternative news option, I agree, I think that we should be grateful to have him. I think that most of his documentaries are pretty fantastic. He does play a persona, so he is not quite as sincere as he makes out (but that isn't unusual for a radio show host of course (an 'on-air personality.) There is good and bad to him, but I am glad we have him.

Research all the roots of the Illuminati, Adam Weishaupt and his writings, and the connection between the Illuminati and atheists. Thomas Jefferson... one of the Founding Fathers who radically supported that separation of church and state... was a great supporter of Dr. Weishaupt. Fundamentalist Christians have been pulling this crap for years! People like Alex Jones and Ron Paul only support the Constitution when it supports their Fundamentalist Christian agenda!

My only beef with AJ is sensationalism. I still have the commercial ringing in my head.. "Buy this, or they will institute more acts of terror, and bring in martial law". I know its just for dramatic effect, or what ever, but I find it offensive. I will say that he has gotten a lot better though. If you heard his y2k broadcast, you will see what I mean when I talk about sensationalism. He is way better now than he was, as far as keeping the speculation to a minimum..

You just have to be careful with all that he has to "Sell"... and understand what he try's to "protect"... i firmly believe he's a shill, but that does not mean we have to reject every thought or word... try everything with reason through the words of God and good stewardship in Jesus and even through ravens one can still be fed crumbs.

...SO, if you've managed to come out the other side of the rabbit hole and are looking at AJ objectively and critically- remember the "you" that was once in the rabbit hole, and accept responsibility to HELP those still in the hole to gain more balance of perspective.
That won't achieved by trying to make the rabbit hole cave in- you'll just get a load of pissed off bunnies.

I unsubbed from the alex channel that dave has. Just too much at once. I listen "on occassion" but I can't listen to him every day like I used to.
There is TOO MUCH speculation in the truth movement and THAT I can't deal with. Alex does a lot of that.
Agreed he has some good info sometimes and can be used as a source. But you have to find a way to overlook the fear mongering and sensationalism.

Have a hard time listening to AJ for too long at a time, BUT there are many a thing I wouldn't have learned and researched, if he hadn't brought them to my attention.
I'm a knowledge junky and anything interesting or unusual, I will research many different sources.
Some things feel right to the gut and others don't. When it doesn't feel right, but yet it is concerning information, just have to check it out - to then decide if there is cause to own it or not.

I agree. He is a good resource. As for fear mongering, I've been pretty impressed with his swine flu coverage. He is as confused as the rest of us about whether or not it's as serious as they say. In addition, maybe by making people afraid, it gives them the impetus to learn more. I was very scared of the future when I first started listening to him, but I'm past that now. I'm cautious and pragmatic, but not afraid.
