You may have coined a new meaning for the word "squiggle". At present, as a verb it means "to make wiggly marks". Making wiggly marks on your walls would certainly squiggle your room in your new sense of the word.

Hmm, I translated the German word "verschnörkeln", which means to make something look (all) like curlicue (if this is the right word), with dict.leo.org and it said "to squiggle".

I am not aware of an English verb with the meaning "to make something look (all) like a curlicue". The closest word I can think of would be "embellish", which dict.leo.org translates as schmücken or ausschmücken. But "embellish" usually has a positive connotation.

BTW, curlicues are orderly curves. Squiggles are chaotic curves.

"essen anbrennen lassen": schön, dass es anderen außer mir auch so geht ;). "kupplung": fahr doch einfach u-bahn! zu punkt 3: kenne ich auch sehr gut :( und ich handhabe das genauso wie du, zumindest da wo ich das selber bestimmen kann (in meinem zimmer!). zu 2.: ich hasse vorträge bzw. referate!!! und zu 1.: klausuren sind immer scheiße egal ob man nun das entsprechende thema drauf hat oder nich ;)

oooh ja referate. ich HASSE referate!!! in der 8ten hatte ich so angst davor, da stand ich so und hab vieeel zu schnell geredet und alle haben zeichen gemacht dass ich doch um gottes willn langsamer reden soll und das hat mich nervös gemacht und ich hab mich verredet was alles noch viel schlimmer gemacht hat und meine knie haben gezittert und oh gott. wunder mich dass ich noch leb *gg*

In der Unterstufe konnte man sich - also ich zumindest - vor den meisten Vorträgen verkrümeln (pah, wozu noch ne extra Note?), aber jetzt ist das nicht mehr ganz so leicht *sigh*

*seufz* bei uns ist man bis letztes jahr auch um die wirklich langen dinger rumgekommen, aber nachdem unsre lieben lehrer auf die geniale idee gekommen sind eine schulaufgabe durch ein referat zu ersetzen... 30 minuten lang reden, brrr, wie grausam.

Hmm, no it was about some kind of tests in general. For instance exams in history class or political science, there's hardly any chance to get a good mark (at least for me).

Awesome rant! I think it is so amusing how strongly you feel about decorations in people's homes. There was even an arm waving moment, and a head in the hands moment as well. Such passion about design, I love it! Oh, and the edit at the end just proves your perfectionism, which was endearing. =)

Oh und Kitsch hasse ich auch, der ganze Firlefanz ist totale Verschwendung, aber paar Poster/Bilder an der Wand sind schon ganz gut obwohl im Moment etwas viel ist aber hab nur so wenig Platz :)

Irgendwann verschwindet das Zeug dann aus dem Wahrnehmungsbereich bis man irgendwann merkt, dass die ganze Wand damit gefüllt ist. Nein danke! ;
