I have a beard and I love it. That said, they should be kept neat. Not short, but "neat". Unfortunately, the accepted norm is clean, slick, short and parted. Beards say a lot and add a lot to a man's look and personality. But you have to be conscious of how it effects others. The red headed guy in this video looks like shit. Sorry, but that's my opinion.

I think that the dark haired man needs to trim his beard as the other guy looks OK. I trim my beard nicly. These days that it does not matter if you are clean cut/clean shaven, but what employers look for is experience and education than a clean cut professional look. We are not living in the 1950's, just keep clean, trim your beard nicly and keep your hair neat and long. Beards and short hair, really do not look together.

I think growing a beard, makes you look more of a man, I personally don't have a beard, i just keep a goatee, but i think i ought to, and after watching this video, i feel quite embarrassed not having a beard.
