  • I love it so much :)

  • Were doing this for a school play, im supposed to act, sing, sign, and play guitar the whole thing, but ima have fun, thanks for the video, it really help alot!

  • Oh my gosh!!! That was amazing!! I feel really bad that some people sent rude comments to you. Don't worry, God loves you!!!!!

Anyway, I am 13 and I myself think you did amazingly well. I'm learning this song for my church. I learned it in a week although I'm not really fluent in ASL!!!

  • AWSOME!!

  • could you please post a step-by-step tutorial to this video?? this is really great! :)

  • Great job!

  • OMGGGG SOO BEAUTIFUULLL!!!<33333

  • i really enjoyed this video and only watching it several times i have learned this song almost as good as you do it. My son is a non-verbal autistic and I have been learning ASL and teaching it to him so that I will have a better understanding of what it is he is trying to tell me-he is 3 and picks up on it so fast--faster than I do. I am so amazed!!! This is such a beautiful song and the signing makes it even more special!!!! Clay Aiken is one of my faves and he is also from my home state!!!

  • I am just trying to give you some choices that will help you learn and make your concepts clearer. Signing songs have unique rules too in ASL. Check out he signs for "hands", "blind" and "trod." I think ASL dictionary on-line will give you a clear sign for each of those words. Lame is literal, in the bible. There is a sign for that one too. I'm sure you're already learned a lot from making this video and had feedback. Keep learning and ENJOY. Signing is a great skill.

  • Great start! You would really benefit in finding a deaf mentor. Let's talk about some of your choices. "One day" is really "future." God is a formal religious sign and should always start above your head as He is always superior to us. There is a formal sign for the delivery of a baby and should be used when referring to the birth of Christ. Check for plurality, nations, sons, daughters. The sign for Mary does start and end the way you've done it, but is one smooth motion along the face.

  • This is actually one of my favorite songs, and I had learned ASL when I was younger because I had almost lost my hearing, but regained most of it back. This song is a very powerful song...EVERYDAY of the year(not just Christmas), and you preformed it very well!!!

  • Thanks so much! This is actually my dads favorite song! :D (this is my other channel by the way)

  • Ps. I'm doing the christmas program in 11 days so any help would be greatly appeceated. I'll post the program!

  • WOW! 11 days! P.S. this is my other ASL channel haha. I guess that my advice is that if you don't already know the words to the song, learn them (It may help to print them out). Also, writing the ASL Gloss for the song helps me out quite a bit! Last, I guess I would say to practice, practice, practice!!! Good luck preforming this, and have an awesome time!! :D

  • Wow you did a great job! I am trying to learn this for a christmas program st my church, do you have any tips for me? I really appreceate it! Thanks for sharing this specal video!

  • I think u did a good job on ur video and i think that ur hand signs r really good and sorry about the rude comment that was from someone else not me but im still sorry about that.

  • Hey! This is my other channel, but thanks for watching my videos, and don't be sorry about the rude comment. Some people are just not nice, but that's okay you just have to let it roll off your back! :)

  • Thanks! Good luck signing it for your church! :)

  • Um... okay well I guess that is your opinion that I have to respect, but if you don't like my videos just don't watch them. Thanks

  • how long did it take yout o learn this i really want to for christmas did you have a pro. teacher teach you how did you learn how to do this

  • I self taught myself actually. It only took me a few hours to learn. The best way I found to learn a new song is to print the lyrics, and memorize them. Then, rewrite the lyrics into ASL Gloss, and practice the song with the music...slowly and than pick up speed as you feel more comfortable.

  • @giraffe2010 You are soooo cute. There are ASL signs, but there is syntax too. Without that, you're still signing English, you've just moved into the PSE sector. As you use it more, you'll get it all down and it will be easier to understand. Good luck!

  • @giraffe2010 god God bless you i am part dead and to watch you do this song as it is one of my favorites you did it perfectly

  • Dont listen to Giraffe2010, Your signing is fine. Some are different, but some of that could be regional differences. I see that a lot on here.

  • hi giraffe you did excellent i am learning asl and I am new at it. My name is Susan Schmidt and I am studying your video and as well as others. I am hoping to take classes with my husband at riverside college in california. God bless

  • Wow! That sounds awesome! Thanks for watching my videos, I actually have another channel for all my ASL videos if you are interested, it's Love4Sign! Good luck! :D

  • i did this same song 4 my chuch its so moving to me you did good

  • Thank you!

  • This was a really cute video. Your facial expressions were great. However, some of your signs were wrong. I would watch out for that. Overall, it was a cute video though.

  • Thanks! I actually realized that a few signs were either wrong or just looked awful so I resigned it and posted it on my ASL channel, Love4Sign! Feel free to check it out! :)

  • That was really good! I wish I could sign that well. :)

  • Thank you so much! And you can sign... it just takes a little heart! :)

  • that was very good keep up the good work :)

  • Thank you! :)
