Before you go any further, I would like to tell you that the law of moses does not apply entirely on christianity. The first 5 books, including leviticus and deuteronomy apply only to Judaism, which are also called "torah", a book which contains the first 5 books from the Bible.

@kerr3785 The Leviticus verse was a warning. Deuteronomy and Jeremiah was talking about people starving(sounds like the donner party(the city was going to be undersiege and they had no food). These were not commendments to eat people, these were punishments for wrong doing by the people as a whole.

Before you go any further, I would like to tell you that the law of moses does not apply entirely on christianity. The first 5 books, including leviticus and deuteronomy apply only to Judaism, which are also called "torah", a book which contains the first 5 books from the Bible.
I can explain what Leviticus 26:29 and Deuteronomy 28:53 Jeremiah 19:9 mean
The problem is, dont take the verses out of their context, read the pasages before, and after

And yes. It is OK and it is right because He is the ultimate authority and what He says might not sound good to us, but who are we, as His creation and His children to judge Him?

In both Leviticus and Deuteronomy, it says if you disobey him, he will make put you in such a position that you will be left with nothing, you will have to do wicked things, walking away from whats right.
In Jeremiah 19:9 it says the same thing. They will be driven in dispare.
I think you should read the bible before making devious judgements.
If you dont understand it, doesnt mean its wrong.

@kerr3785 The Leviticus verse was a warning. Deuteronomy and Jeremiah was talking about people starving(sounds like the donner party(the city was going to be undersiege and they had no food). These were not commendments to eat people, these were punishments for wrong doing by the people as a whole.

And actually, both of his parents raised him Catholic, and that is part of the reason, to my understanding, the Holocaust happened. He believed that the Jews were responsible for killing Jesus (having magically forgotten Jesus was Jewish) and persecuted them.

He was not raised Catholic. His parents never forced him to go to church or go through the rituals. Your understanding of history is flawed. Hitler hated anyone who disagreed with his politics & beliefs. Read his book. He admitted too hating all religions & using religion for his political means.

Chances are their parents or grandparents were either religious or legal experts. Hitler hated all religions not just Jews. That's a fact!
