@soniachenlin with the weight of the door and the man, Watson would not have been able to pull him up successfully without a high chance of dying also .
How proud Holmes is of his older brother ! The look of love and amusement when he sees Mycroft sitting at the window examining the world from his perch is priceless. What kind of parents and childhood formed these two extraordinary men?
@Joshfan27 Hahahahah! Yeah.. Smoking is strictly prohibited! Hahahaha .. But I guess Sherlock Holmes looks more good with a pipe.. I mean. It's like a part of his personality! Don't you agree?
@MrNoor95 I really do agree with you 100%! Sherlock Holmes makes breaking rules awesome! I want to buy his pipe but the sad thing is that I don't smoke XD
Wow when Mycroft says "younger brother" hes not kidding! Such a big age gap between them. I didn't imagine it as that large of a gap in the books...interesting...
@JamesThompson1011 Yeah. Haha. I got curious and looked it up and when it said 7 years I figured they just probably wanted to cast Charles Grey. Still, it irks me. :/ Not that Charles is a bad actor, he's great, but just....too old for my head cannon of what Mycroft looks like. :/
Yeah, I agree with you completely on the age thing, but I'm a long time fan of Charles Grey, so I just kinda picture the younger version of him in the role while I watch it. I do like his interpretation of the character though. He makes the reclusive and mysterious Mycroft seem very human to me,and very likable.
if Some dnt know the actor that plays the role of Mycroft is Charles Gray that is more probably know by his role has Blofeld on the 007 Movie"007-Diamonds are Forever"(1971) or has Henderson on"007-You Only Live Twice"(1967)
I wonder where Holmes picked up the Colt Single-action Army pistol he's had since season 1 ?

Holmes and company should have just surreptitiously tailed the interpreter from the Diogenes club. did not watch rest of video yet.

Watson meets Mycroft... I bet his first thoughts were something along the lines of
"Mother of God... THERE ARE TWO OF THEM??!!"
While we're on the subject - 'Sherlock' and 'Mycroft'? The boys must have had rather interesting parents for names like those XD

Are the illustrations from the original Sherlock Holmes Books?
swelsa1863 2 months ago
@swelsa1863 The illustrations at the end of the story are those of Sidney Paget from the Strand magazine publication of the stories.

Agreed.
Along with Popeye, and the captain from Tintin, Sherlock is one of Few fictional characters known for smoking Pipe.(pretty much his trade mark)

@FullmetalShortOne
According to Doyle, he's seven years older than Sherlock, but I guess they couldn't resist casting Charles Grey in the role.
