Yea its clean which is all good but it just sounds terrible and isnt consistent its like its almost there but needs a push! Overall.. I think he needs to put more power into his voice, more effort like... the band is awesome and it seems that the singer could try a hell of a lot harder, but I think his voice needs work cos it just doesnt fit.. The drummer reminds me of Mike Wengren on his early days, the singer is a mix between David Copperfield and a former singer of my band, the guitar is OK (I guess), the "keybordist" (that's copyright) needs to nail the notes. The bassist I'd say is the best of them all.

It's a good job. I don't think the singer is the right fit for this style of music. Good singer, just not for metal. The band is really solid, and, in the spirit of a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link, likely a better fit at singer would make them that much better. 6.5 /10 for the solid musicianship and mostly on key vocal. And a bonus for even attempting Dream Theater.

Hey, don't bug the vocalist, he has a really good voice. He is not a LaBrie-clone, and that's the best in whole thing. About moving on stage... Well, it depends a lot on the situation. If you run up and down and start jumping like crazy when nobody seems interested... Well, that's lame. But I agree that he should try to act like a frontman a bit more. I loved the voice, however :).

Cool that you guys are covering DT. You could probably get better monitors from the engineer to make your job easier though. Sounds like you had bad monitors and got a bit out of the groove there and there.
