I've been obsessed with them for years. Carrying on without Hugh was an odd choice in the end but they must really love the songs that much. Who's to judge? God bless 'em!
the keyboard solo at the end of "dagenham dave" reminds of the weird tony banks solos.
And like tony, i guess dave greenfield was a bit overseen and only musically knowledgeable people can assume how much he contributed to the broad melodic spectrum of their sound.
Greenfield is the man in the shadow, but he is a terrific musician with great musical feeling!!!
don´t be so silly. It´s just a band after all, boy, no big thing.
Cornwell is just irreplaceable, but this guy definitely does a much much better job in playing his part that this prick rogers,- they must have been badly stoned when they hired him and then couldn´t break the deal or so:))
Baz knocks it out filling the shoes of Roberts and Ellis and his guitar sounds like Hugh's. Other than Norfolk Coast, this is the way it should have always sounded after Hugh left.....
Dagenham Dave . Fuckin amazing song about a big fan of the band who topped himself back in 77 . Goodbye Toulouse the next track from Rattus album . Best band in my lifetime and theres been some fucking good ones !
Hi your not the only one! I booked tickets for this forgetting that I would be out of the country!!! How gutting is that! I can't believe I missed it from the songs I've heard it was brilliant!
Its great, would be funny if Baz wore a Hugh face mask, in the right light we'd asll be able to step back 30 years :)

They certainly sound a hell of a lot better now that Roberts has left the band.

They sound better at the older songs. The new music they made with Roberts was great.
