Actually he was a red head. And they looked everywhere for both a Brunette + Blonde "Bobby" (since they weren't sure who the parents were going to be yet.) The one thing I hated about juvenile and teenage romance is how it was downplayed alot back then. Until "The Wonder Years" came, hey made ou like this never went on, and if it did, it was very childlike and innocent. From experience (and others I know) kids were up to things as young as 5 (I know I was) and by the time they were pre-teens, other things were going on. Wish they would not sugarcoat what we know was already happening at the time.
