CrockofGod's question is utter nonsense. "Atheism" is an intellectual stance. It is not - unlike christianity - a body of claims, assertions, and dogma that would need support. Atheism is "true" in the sense that some of us hold that honest position - rejecting the bullshit that xtians have rammed into their pea-brains.
Actually science now tells us that every human alive today is the descendant of a single female known as Mitochondrial Eve. Google or wiki her if you doubt me. Every single person alive today is her descendant. So your ideas about gene pools are in conflict with science. Mitochondrial Eve is the most recent common female ancestor of all mankind. She may not be the only one, as there could even be earlier bottlenecks in our gene pool.
@UndeadLight--- I didn't say it was evidence for the Bible. It was targeted at your ideas about genetic bottlenecks, which are misinformed. Mitochondrial Eve is the ancestor of every person alive today.
There is no evidence necessary since, if you remove the concept of god and the question of it's existence, you have no other choice but to be atheist (although at that point, it becomes true but nonsensical). Atheism is not a positive assertion. SOG is just trolling for unwary atheists with a nonsensical question because it has worked in the past. Don't feed the troll.
The burden of proof is on the one who makes the claim. You don't need to show why a disbelief is valid. Next question.

@indignant99 Yeah I was hoping to have an intellectual talk with him, I'm quickly seeing that isn't happening.

@lanastompanato Mitochondrial Eve wasn't the only female. So that's not evidence for the bible.

@lanastompanato And also not everybody is related to Eve.

@lanastompanato Yeah I reread the wiki article just now. :)
