your graphics card. GMA's are not gaming cards. mine is the nvidia 9600m gt. (pretty nice) its much better than the 4500 and in plays the new cod on low at 40-50. look for a different card. intel sucks at making gpu's

You really have no clue do you? Its not about the brand, but the screen.

There are:

Glare screens: Good contrast, but works bad in the light/sun, and reflexs alot.

Non-glare screen: Worse contrast than glare screens, but works better in the light, and doesnt reflect as much.

This "graphics card" is by no means a gaming card. I purchased a Toshiba laptop that had this card in it because it HAD better benchmarks than the 6100go in the laptop it replaced.. Well took the Toshiba back in 2 days because the 6100go whipped its ass at everything that i threw out it EXCEPT for HD video decoding, which is what this card is truely meant for. Traded for a Vaio that had an ATI 4570, and never looked back ;D

Oh yea, Intel has gotten a bit better but still sucks.

With most budget laptops $475-$500 they either come with a Intel pentium dual-core with a intel graphic card or a AMD Athlon X2 (or tursion) Both @ 2.0ghz but the AMD athlon/tursion will have an ATI radeon 3100 the pentium dual-core is a BIT better than the AMD athlon but the radeon blows away intel so yea.

yubebarca it would prob be the edge of playable with the Radeon 3200 graphics. if your talking about gta iv that is. even on lowest settings. exspect 15fps at 640x480 res (using command line) my laptops Geforce 8200M G gets about 18-19fps barely playable but i can deal with it. prob would run better on my laptop if it had a dual core. my laptop (CQ60-419WM) has a single core AMD Sempron SI-42 2.1ghz

8200m is worse than x4500 and 3200. and honestly there is not a big difference between them since they are all the same gen so you gotta use tweaks and programs to improve it.
