i always like to put fake eye lashes but the problem is that it hurt my eyes. mmy question is should have to wait until the glue dries? cuz i also wear glasses and i don't know if it's because of that too. ( im allegic to nothing)

@rmbfirst1 Hi :) Yes, you should put the glue on the lashes, nd then wait for 30 seconds while the glue 'semi' dries. The most important thing is NOT to put the lashes on right after you put the glue on. It MUST NOT be wet, but more kinda sticky.

Sorry Sephora but I thought this video was TERRIBLE. This was not informative at all. You didn't teach how to measure to make sure the lash fits, or to wait until the glue gets tacky or if you should put on your eyeliner or not. I expected more from Sephora.  To tell you the truth I learned more xsparkage and she is a teenager (at least that is what I think). xsparkage please comment if your older :) I learned a lot from your video.

Maybe the whole point of this "tutorial" is to make you give up on applying them in the usual way, so you'll cough up the bucks for Sephora's false eyelash application kit, which includes a specially designed applicator tool (like an extra big pair of tweezers, with thin silicone gripping edges).

Making my eyes up before applying false lashes always works for me. Also, you may want to wait a few minutes for the glue to get tacky so that the falsies can stick better.

BAD vid! Model has shadow on pre-eyelash. ALL the mfgrs say apply to clean & dry lids. That means NO shadow & NO mascara. Horrible lighting and she did a poor job. 4.5 out of 10 Have some rehearsals before you have to use them for real so you get the hang of doing it. You do not want to be under pressure to get them right the first time. Wear them a bit around the house to get used to the feel. Easiest way is get a friend and put them on each other. Don't forget to take your glue with you!

Actually, you need to have ALL of your eye makeup on beforehand. If you put on mascara after the lashes, you will get your lashes junkie and you will not be able to use them very long.

There are clearly two camps. Those that put make up before eyelashes and those that put the eyelashes on before any make up. Read instructions, try it both ways. See what works. What works for one may not work for another. :o)

Actually, if you want the life of your lashes to be as long as possible, you will put makeup on before using them. Trust me, you will save money but using them this way.

Off the strip? No, not really, they just won't last as long if you put mascara on them. It just builds up and its super hard to clean them without damaging them. Not reccommended.

It takes awhile to get the whole process down. If you're not getting it at first or just making a mess, don't give up. Practice makes perfect. I recommend buying some cheap ones (who cares what they look like) and just try applying them for practice. If you're a first time user don't go out and buy the most expensive natural looking lashes possible, go for the cheap to practice on.

apply one corner first from left to middle.Then continue to press the other side slowly like laying it flat on your eye.Make sure your eyes are closed and try not to move to much by blinking and rolling your eye ball while close. finish the lash all around. the glue will not dry out fast take your time.Run A black liner along the base then mascara. Poof your done!!!

Falsies are not that hard to put on... it definitely helps if you curl your lashes first. And I always do a line of black liner before i put the falsies on, that way it blends in more. Trim them if they are too long, trim from the inner corner, because a lot of times the outer corner is longer than the inner corner. And wait a few seconds after putting the glue on, so it can get tacky.

You apply mascara so that it blends in with your real eyelashes.
