Look closer. It didn't make anything. After analyzing the image structure it copied bits and pieces from other areas of the picture and pasted them together in such a way that they matched the surrounding content. That "bridge", for example, was taken from the railing above the road on the left of the picture and pasted in several times at the lower part in the middle of the picture. The same goes for bushes and houses. They were copied from other parts of the image also.

Hi Howard! great tutorial.......I just installed CS5 today and was extremely excited about the Content Aware feature. I have a picture of my niece where the dog got in the way. I tried this feature but it just puts SEVERAL pictures of my nieces face where the dog was. Obviously, not what I wanted. Does this feature not work with removing objects from in front of people or am I doing something wrong?

hey Howard, there is something wrong with my content-aware fill. Every time I try it, instead of doing a good object deletion, it replaces it with other parts of the image that are really far away. E.g. I used a car in front of a building, I used it and it puts parts of the building where I deleted it. I hope you can help, Thanks. ;D
