  • Doesn't take a genius, just a little outside the box thinking. I suspect a younger person would find it even easier than I.

  • took me around 60 seconds :)

  • i was stuck at first but then i saw the video and the rule again and gotten it done immediately, nice brain teaser though.

  • 5 seconds, too easy

  • that was fast

  • i got it in my mind it is realy easy

  • got it in like 10 sec!

  • Only took a few seconds to figure out, I imagine it would have been more challenging if I hadn't done the previous puzzle

  • done and im ten

  • i got it in 30 secs im 12 btw

  • first try i got it. pretty easy

  • First try. Im serious...

  • @BastaBat666 easy AF

  • This one wasn't any harder than the first coin puzzle; it only takes four moves.

  • I got it.

  • fkkkk i dont want to find that comment

  • i got it within 60 seconds XD

  • Great cannel, buddy... But you hang around a bunch of simpleton, if nobody could get this right...

  • James Bybee

  • I GOT IT FIRST TRY!!! :D

  • its impossible if the only legal moves are for the coins to be touching more than one coin. there cant be end peices.

  • I can do this one in two moves?

  • this was easy :D

  • u make a triangle with one coin by itself so that two of the coins are in a linear line with the other coin by itself then the coin that is not linear u insert between the linear coins.... Not hard.

  • Took about 15-20 seconds.

  • Under a minute, but nice.

  • I did it

    Yea

  • uhm..20 seconds..

  • @MultiWoWer lol i think i have you beat it took me prob 10-15 seconds that was wayy to easy

  • :P it took me longer to get the coins then to solve it

  • took less then a minute, pretty good at puzzles. But it just takes knowing its possible and simple logic.

  • i have done this puzzle at bars for years. the people who say they got in 10 seconds or whatever are either REALLY good at puzzles, or they made the some mistake everyone maks at first, which is they move on coin to the end of the row, which means it isn't touching two coins, and isn't a legal move. anyone who says they did it in ten seconds, please watch the solution and tell me if you did you correctly, becuase I'm sure you didn't.

  • @kradrol Not 10 seconds, but less than 20, and yes I did it right. It's not very complicated. The fact is that there's only one move you can make at each stage that doesn't just put it back into a previous position, so by doing what you have to not to go backward, you solve the puzzle.

  • This took me 4 moves, and about 10 seconds, first go. Very simple :p

  • Took me a little while and four moves. There are so many loop holes in the problem definition to take advantage of though to solve the problem.

  • lol i did it in 1 try :D

  • i found the last one a lot harder

probz bcause i used tissues 4 the 1st 1 coz it was at nite and i was too tired to get coins...

but dis was quite easy, gt it instantly(kinda :P)

  • i figured this out in a second honest

  • solved this in about 30 seconds on my first try. all you need to do is think outside the box and a puzzle like this is simple

  • got it in about a minute.

  • how can you put it into a line if the coins are supposed to touch other 2 coins? the last one would touch only 1 :|

  • sorry im poor, i don't have 4 coins.

  • easy

  • u slide it on top?

  • got it, really cool

  • if it has to always touch 2 coins, how will it end up in a strait line?

  • Got it in under half a minute. The trick is to start at the end.

  • got it

  • Chuck Norris solved this puzzle in ONE move!

  • Comment removed

  • easy peasy

  • @ssblord: The solution is 4 moves, and yes I did follow the rules carefully. I'm usually bad at puzzles, but I got this one solved within a minute. To me that makes it pretty easy.

  • easy

  • 17 seconds first try!

  • Took me about 30 seconds. But I needed something to feel clever about for once, so thanks!

I think the trick is to imagine you're starting with it solved and trying to work backwards.

  • Comment removed

  • 5 moves about 1 minute to figure out

  • omfg im a fucking genius..... this is so lame solved it in under 1 minute....

  • he already gave out the ans

  • I made it in four moves.

  • oh no, 4 moves :D

  • 5 moves, did it in under 10 secs :)

  • i have it :)

  • that wasn't difficult at all.

  • GAY AND THE ASK IS DO YOU THINK YOU ARE A GENIUS?

  • no bullshit, I don't lie. got it in less than thirty seconds

  • Before you all act like it was very easy I need to say move 1 at a time. Every moved coin must touch 2 coins so you can't just put one on the end. I got it straight away, but it takes a minimum of 5 moves before you go brag

  • @ssblord i need 4 moves

  • Wow that is so "hard"

  • Wow i was surprised that i even got this right on my first try!!! though the only reason is because i've seen tons of trick/puzzles that resemble this one, but they are all different in their own ways lol

  • You must have showed it to many dumb people haha… I got this within half a minute… these kinds of things are a lot easier doing in reverse because you can see the limitations you have and you can eliminate many possibilities by symmetry…

  • This one was easier..

  • this was an incredibly easy puzzle. I've done math problems that have stumped me for longer, not saying that's unusual, but for a calculus student, this was a piece of cake. I was hoping for more of a challenge.

  • 20 seconds. beat that!!

  • yeah. took me 10^(-80) sec

  • At first I was like...Uhh how is this possible...

    Beat it in 10 secs

  • did it in 0.1 sec

  • that was easy lol

  • Apparently you'r surrounded by stupid people.

  • I just find it hard to believe that you never had anyone get this right away. If you just think about it logically, its not very hard to get at the solution. First , think about your starting position, and your final position. The final position is a straight line, and any moved coin must come into contact with 2 others. So from that, one can deduce that the final coin added, is not added to the sides, its added to the middle.

  • Did it in 0 sec. There´s no point in it, so the REALLY clever one is the one that go and do other things with his time. ^^

  • did it in 30 secs , its not fast though, compared to others, oh well

  • Did it in four moves without watching solution, about 20 sec.

Anyone who says they did it faster is a filthy liar.

  • play with it quick enough and you'll run into the solution inadvertently. easy test

  • 10 seconds - four moves

  • did in 2 sec.

  • EASY

  • easy

    i did i in 10 seconds

  • I saw the video once, I did not go back to see the formation of the coins, I remembered the formation and pictured it in my mind and i solved it in just a few seconds.

  • INTERNET ASSHOLE I SOLVED YOU R RIDDLE

  • What was hard about this?

  • very easy, got it on the first try.

  • under a minute its not that hard.

  • Corel video studio music lol

  • i got 3 seconds and only had too move it twice:D

  • A: 1010th comment.

    B: 4 moves.

    C: About a minute.

  • four moves. hum :|

  • easy

  • less than 30 secs and 1st try im clever

  • Took me less than a minute. Very cool, though, I like puzzles like this.

  • easy

  • Hey I got it first try, Awesome. I like things like this. The more you challenge the mind, the sharper it becomes.

  • Tried it up front and timed myself...got it in 32 seconds. He never mentioned that all the coins don't have to be strewn together, and I didn't try it because I thought it was a rule till a 20 seconds...

THE COINS DON'T HAVE TO ALL BE CONNECTED.

  • i got it in about 10 sec

  • got it in 8 seconds im 10

  • they call that hard it was soooo easy

  • i did in it 3 moves but the shape was a bit curved.. does that count lol

  • EASY got it my first time.

  • a little critical thinking will let you get this puzzle about as fast as you can move the coins. just starting with the assumption that the final move has to be to move a coin between two disconnected coins. sigh.

  • i got this in about 1 minute

  • i got it in like 5 mins and im a kid.

  • I got it in about 10 minutes. If I'd been drinking...forget about it.

  • if it has to touch another 2 coins, how can it ever be in a straight line?

  • Try reverse engineering :)

  • yeah i was thinking the same thing

  • 4 moves for sure.

    1. The first move is obvious, as it's the only one that changes the overall shape. (Well honestly two moves but theyre mirrors so who cares).

    2. Move two is also the only move that brings you to a NEW shape you havent yet seen, and that's good as those old shapes are self-perpetuating.

    3. Has some more choices just gotta think ahead.

    4. If you show the pattern you have to a 5 year-old they would move the last coin correctly. It's painfully obvious.

  • Put an extra 10p coin on the table then slide the top one to touch the two on the bottom left. the the other coin can fit between the last one and the one you just placed on the table and you can happily remove the coin you put on the table....I haven't lifted any of those coins you said only the one I put on the table. This give me my straight line! lol!

  • Oh yea, like this puzzle :) Found the solution after a minute ^_^

  • Easy to follow rules..very simple task.

  • Not so sure you guys are doing it correctly. You CANT do this in 2 moves. EVERY MOVE has to cause a coin to touch 2 OTHER coins. Not as easy as you all are making it sound. From what I can tell it takes 5 moves, and it took me about 2 minutes to solve. Good puzzle though!

  • @Circumvenscion

OK - so you can do it in 4 moves actually, but certainly not 2!

  • interesting...

    i got it in a 1:32

    that any good?

  • 2 moves 2 seconds

  • it took like 3 secs w/ 2 moves whoever couldnt do it. wow

  • lol, i solved in in 3 seconds, i dont get how this is hard.

  • OH GREAT!!!!!!

After years of college, hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on an education, all I had to do was go to some british numbnuts youtube video to find out I was a genius.

I SUING MY COLLEGE FOR A REFUND.

  • with 4 moves :)

  • i got it in 2 moves

  • Got it in under a minute! 4 moves, rules followed perfectly.

  • Done whit 4 moves ^^

  • I did it in 4 moves.

  • i didnt really understand i tat first but i still get it now.. how old r u people? 56,57,58?

  • ok solved it in 20 seconds, am i a genoius?

ok i can solve rubik's cube too ;)

  • Not sure you are a genius... You can't spell genius. :/

  • @ButlerSONG maybe, but you still have trouble spelling...

  • @ballagie

Oh, since when does spelling matters on teh inetrnetz?

  • ive solved it in 2 min....easy

  • And those of you who say you solved the puzzle in two movements just didn't do it right.

  • His explanation of the rules is mildly flawed, but requires the visual demonstration of the rules with his coins to visualize all the possible movements.

  • Yea got it in 2 moves

  • Shit ok rules werent that clear i got it but i shifted ones of the coins to make it perfectly straight

    0 0 0 0

    to 0 0 0 0

    I dono if thats allowed

  • I found it slightly easier than the first video, solved in around 2 mins, the key thing to realize is one of the middle coins must be the final one, and work the puzzle backwards.

  • easy

  • easy

  • it took me two moves...

  • you dont even have to watch the solution video. just look at the pic. ahah

  • haha took me like 5 mins but I got it. but I used the hint from the comments of it being 4 moves.

  • yeah it tooj me like 3 minues im not gonna lie good one though

  • are u aloud to move 2 at once?

    cause then its easy

  • i got it in 1 minute, i tips...you most move so the coin toutch 2 coins (or more) ...but when you move a coin, it can be a coin left that not toutching anyting... ( sorry for bad english, lol )

  • At first I didn't understand the rules entirely. I thought you had to rotate them along the edges, but I didn't realize you could moved them anywhere as long as they ended up touching two of each other. Once I learned that from watching into the solution video a little bit, I immediately figured it out. I wonder if everybody realizes how that works. He doesn't seem to explain it that well.

  • lol, when you, you only have to take the last coin and move it to the top of the row omg

  • I thought I would probably take a long time to solve it or have to look at the solution video, but I think I have it now, and it only took a few minutes or so.

  • It was a few moves and few seconds puzzle, not genius

  • Got that shit. 4 moves, yes?

  • You notice how the ones who actually solved it talk about "moves", while the bullshitters talk about "seconds"?

    Nice try, bullshitters.

  • i got it

  • It's amazing how many people on here that are obviously of below average intelligence who actually take the time to watch this video, watch the solution, come back to this video, and say things like "so easy", "I did it in 5 seconds" etc.

It took me a few minutes to figure it out, but I eventually did get it, I agree that this doesn't prove whether or not you are a genius, just that you have good problem solving skills.

  • omg so simple

  • 5 secs =) pwned

  • I'm a genius :D I get it in like 3 seconds...

  • dude it took me 2 secs to figure this one out

  • Got it less than a minute. Yay. I r smart!

  • That was pretty easy... I don't see how this proves you are a genius, sorry.

  • did it

  • * i know how this is done if want to know the answer just drop me a message,

    * to give u a hint it is only 4 moves...^^

  • I did it in 8 seconds

  • Comment removed

  • i dont think this is a good gauge of how smart anyone is. some people are naturally very visual and tend to get these puzzles very fast, while others rely on learning styles such as rote memorization that would make puzzles like this a bit more difficult.
