  • Man you are a special person and you are very very brave.

  • Meh, not to be ignorant. But your assuming that every living being (Human at least) will lose their vision, and this is not true.

  • @obichika As a natural process many will lose SOME vision later on in life, but i never said all. For me? Because of the way my vision is, it will create a reverse effect, thus giving me better vision. It's already working. It used to be 20/100 and now it's 20/70.

  • I have a lot respect for you that you respond to ignorant people, who base their judgement on a person physical appearance, you aren't shy or angry to show them the disadvantage you have in life. Because its not what you are born with that matters is what you do with it, and knowledge to me in life is whats most valuable

  • Seriously i know what it's like. I can't really do much without glasses/contacts, but I still cherish my vision.

  • Kinda depressing, not gonna lie.

  • kinds depressing, not gonna lie.

  • Whoever mad front you may GOD strike them down!!!! Through this whole video I said yes right I know I am visually impaired myself no one understands how hard is to not be able to see 20/20. It bothers me that they can send a man to the moon and back but can't help me see there isn't any surgery or LASIK that can cure my vision loss. I can see I have low vision.

  • Hmpff, all that bash you for your handicap do not deserve the gift of sight in my opinion. It seems as if most bad things always happen to good people.

Much respect for the way you cope with it.

  • this guy is one of my favorite people ever. like seriously. i watch these videos over and over and over. i keep coming back to them month after month. and they're like 10 minute videos.

    so much respect brother.

  • I don't ever take my vision for granted. I'm still amazed by what I see in the visual world!

  • I don't take my vision for granted dude you wouldn't believe how many times I've looked around glad to have it, but lots of people do take it for granted.

  • Anyone whore makes fun of you they are big JERKS!!!! you tell me if it happens again and tell me who and on their channel I will report them I know how. Nice video. Just because your vison is not perfect dosnt change who you are inside!

  • Check out yoga for eyes by Meir Schneider's, this gentleman was blind and restored his vision with simiple alternative practices and techniques. I bought his video and practiced it daily to correct my vision and no longer use glasses (which I think is amazing). I also took Amla powder, Organic green foods, Organic meat, rinsing eyes with distilled rose water, detoxing the body, doing yoga or things that calmed me.

  • This if for all of the BASHER's Out there? Pray big time that vision loss doesn't happen to you,,,ALSO 3 little words: "SHAME ON YOU!" I bet you are nor perfect either! News Flash: "No One IS!" rml695? I love the vid! Shows a very vulnerable side of you. Thanks for sharing!

  • anyone who make fun of you because of your glasses, well fuck them!

and if they ask you tell them because Michalis say so....

  • Is there any way to well restore the vision that you lost from your broken blood vessel in your eye? i hope so, Keep going Dude..In the near future we will have something to help..

  • @GaryWinfld What's gone is gone, there's no way to get it back, but thanks for hte concern. :)

  • ur a very nice person add me on youtube

  • @theprzmostfin3zt Done. :) Thanks :D

  • Dude, that frekkin sucks, you can stay through man, be amazing if you could restore vision. good luck :)

  • i bitch and moan because I'm 15 and my sight is -7, but thats nothing compared to you. i wouldn't be able to cope the way you do...

  • @305319 Many wouldn't, at least that's what my retinal specialist said.

  • this guy is absalutley right! and i thank him for uploading this video because it has made me realise that i would never wanto lose my sight or hearing im gonna be more carefull, thanks brother i wish you the best

  • you are right...i am very blessed that i have nothing wrong with me and a ton of people have other things wrong with them...cant walk, or they cant hear, cant see? its just awful its too bad we cant just fix everyone you know?

  • @wanapiss I know it.

  • Geez man, you had a jet engine of a fan going in the background! :)

  • @VisionlessOne Heavy processor activity, that was. LOL

  • I meant OH my!

  • On my! I feel so sorry for you! My grandma has a friend that has the exact same thing you have. Right eye: blind. Left eye: OK vision! What you are saying is what my blind friend always tells me! I'll pray for you wherever i can! some day lets hope you have vision n both eyes one day!

  • if i were you, i'd buy a monocle.

  • @629TM Not sure if they have them in my prescription.

  • Why do you have such thick lens for the eye that is blind?

  • @ESHouse28 WE never considered a monacle.

  • I love your videos about the x box 360 .you are right i have taken for granted. So many of us do.You keep rockn man i hope technology gets better for sight enhancements.

  • @jeffrothegamer Thankyee. :)

  • Keep making videos, Don't let anyone take you down.. I hope your vision stays stable.. Hang in there.

  • @dkconor Thankyee. :)

  • @RML695 i hope your vision stays stable, hang in their man.

  • @RML695 i hope your vision stays stable, hang in their man,

my mum has RP (Retina Pigmentosa) where the retina slowly degrades, theres 50% chance i might have it, my mum is starting to find it difficult seeing.

i have already survived cancer when i was 9yrs old and now i have this possibility looming over me.(because RP is herediterry)

i know im not imortal but i feel stronger knowing i survived cancer,

i was told i was going to die, but my family thought for more treatment and i survived.

  • wish u the best , u gotta a strong heard , admire you , may your sight come back asap

  • Great video, made me think. Stay positive, Hope your eyesight stays stable.

  • Jim McMahon was blind in his right eye and his right eyes vision was bad too. He won a super bowl and gets more tail than a public toilet seat. As long as you live in America, THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!!!!

  • not just our vision... but any part of our bodies can be impaired. :/

  • @DianaM11428 Definitely.

  • Wait. I always see the bridge of my nose because I mostly see with just one eye but I always assumed seeing the bridge of your nose was normal.

  • @rudolphg76 I was assuming it wasn't normal to see the bridge of your nose.

  • ok, thanks!

  • i i feel yuor pain man my vision percription is -5.75 and to people who might not know what that is, it simply means that an object i see 20 feet away most people can see 575 feet away thats how bad my vision is i cannot see without my contacts and -7 is legally blind so im am really close so i feel ya man

  • i noticed that all of the pics you used for the thumbnail of the vid,ur eyes are all closed???

  • @MonsterHunterNoob1 Not closed. Due to the way my glasses are designed, i look like I'm squinting, even though I'm not.

  • I haven't notices until this video, but what is that loud noise? It sounds like a fan but idk.

  • The high pitch sound is my processor, most likely. The other loud noise is my system fan, yes. I have a MacBook, and the mic & cam are built into the monitor.

  • Brilliant Video man, said some strong things. I really hope your vision stays stable, and good optimism man, inspirational.

  • I was watching a show about that, they kind of do, its some sort of sunglasses but they got some transmitter placed in your eye & when you put on the glasses, if you are totally blind or really bad, you can see bug objects & stuff like that, I would say this is a really big step.

  • Respect.

My vision started to go bad around 10 years old... I sometimes vividly remember what my vision was like when I was 6.

  • I just did it for about 3 days and it was an extremely frightening experience. Very good video keep it up

  • I feel you man. I used to think my vision would be fine my whole life, but then I stacked my BMX and landed on the back of my head. I was blind for a couple of hours and after that I've been far-sighted. Sucks big time :/

  • I understand completely - I lost one eye in a stupid childhood fight when hit with a rock, and the lens had to be removed, so that eye is totally blurred. Other eye is giving in to age, time will tell how it holds up. I wish you the best of luck, I have often thought about trying to cope with vision loss after having vision all my life-- I dont think I could adapt. So I dont think I would make it. It is a grand gift, and we do take it for granted.

  • i really sorry about ur vision. its very important to human, and i cant imagine what would hapen if id loose that. mines is like -3.0 on both eyes. or somehting like that. i spend alot time near computer, and i notice that its geting worse little by little, because of that. Do u think it can get to that bad that i wont be able to see anyhting at all?

  • Depending on your condition, without proper treatment, it is possible.

  • Oh I got one quick question. If you right eye is blind why do you have too lenses?

  • Makes more sense. Can you imagine a monicle with my prescription?

  • smart ass, lol

  • what caused your vessel to rupture? my dad was in a bike accident and the top of of the retina detached and they put it back put one small part was already dead so they obvioulsly couldnt do anything but now he says that when he takes off his glasses he can see a really small black dot where his retina is damaged. Oh and your videos are awesome. you should become a youtube partner. you're a good influence

  • Doc said it was a growth spurt.

  • i dont take my vision for granted.... i am near sighted in one eye, and far sighted in the other. know what that means? well it means i have bad depth perception. i cant really tell how far away something is. im surprised im as good at soccer as i am...

  • so you were born blind but you were able to get vision? that must have been amazing to see things for the first time

  • if your one eye is tottaly useless/blind

why is the lense as think as the other lense 9for the eye that still work)

is it to keep it balanced or

    to make it look even

  • I think so :)

  • I sincerely hope that you completely ignore the idiots who dare to bash you. Just pretend they don't exist. Generally, people mean only well. It's just these nolives behind their computerscreens with nothing to do. They don't deserve your attention.

  • I appreciate you're video. My vision is fair, not as good as most, but I am thankful for what I do have now. I hope yours will stay stable for halve a century.

  • Touching man!Had a teary eye for moments!

    I live with these words:

    Blind:see no evil

    Deaf:hear no evil

    Mute:speak no evil

That is what makes me motivated.

  • I have auditory damage. I remember the day I learned the ringing would never go away, I bawled like a baby. It isn't like I'm handicapped, hell, my condition isn't even that bad. It was the feeling that something had been robbed from me. Despite my efforts, I had damage that I didn't even know to prevent. I think you're very brave for calling people out. People should live, but not take it for granted. :)

  • holy shit my mom has that same problem with her ears. sorry

  • Thanks.^^

  • bad eye i see well YOU NEED TO DO SOMETHING INVENT SOMETHING TO HELP YOU MAN COMMON YOU GOTTA DO SOMETHING ALRIGHT

  • That's all well & good, but what does that have to do with the video's topic?

  • haha

  • You're right .. people DO take their vision for granted and would PANIC if they lost their vision. I've seen people who lost it late in life. BIG adjustment. I'm lucky.. been legally blind (20/200) my whole life (birth defect). Cataracts in my 40's - vision REALLY went down (20/400). I'd choose my vision if I had to loose one of my senses because I play music. I learned braille and blindness skills when I had my cataracts - I could function if blind. Wouldn't be fun, but I could do it.

  • i feel bad that you cant see in one eye.

GUYS.... BE HAPPY U HAVE GOOD EYESIGHT(if you do)

  • i would rather loose any other sense. If i went blind i dont know what i would do. I personally only need glasses when driving at night. And thats a personal choice not mandated.

    Great vid

  • good luck to and hope all go's well

  • Could you explain the vision ratings. Eg. 20:80.

I don't fully understand them. I've only heard terms, such as 20:20 vision being great.

But, i'm still not clear. Could you outline the scale in a video or a reply?

  • For 20/80, what you can see at 80 feet, I can see at 20. In other words, I need to be closer.

  • im ten an i have glasses people teased me alot so i kind of know how you feel so god bless you and i hope you have a nice day and keep your head up because they all want to bring the smart ones down

  • Hey man, I posted in your other video but wantd to post here as well. Keep your head high and blow off all those losers that waste their energy on cutting you down. God Bless you.

  • And, by the way, anyone who dared to bash you about your glasses, of all things, has something seriously not turning right in their heads. I hope you're able to ignore most of those idiots; the world is unfortunately full of assholes.

  • Ya all you fools bashing him, if you were to go blind you'd be devastated and crying while this guy is brave enough to show that being almost blind, he can stand up to you and live a normal life.

  • Hats off to you man. I personally know 3 people who are visually impaired, one is completely blind, yet they still manage to lead very fulfilling lives. I only have to live with relatively mild myopia and I still manage to complain about it. I can't imagine what it's like not to see, nor do I ever want to experience it. A corneal ulcer made me fear for my right eye 3 years ago, that was enough of a scare for me. You're very right in this, no one should ever take their vision for granted.

  • how do u know so much info

  • Very touching!

  • as technology improves there will be more treatments I have a myopia issue but i wear bigger glasses I cant use hi index because I need a 2 base curve and that is done in low index from what I understand IF you can wear a bigger frame you might FEEL you have better vision just a suggestion it may work for you I am assuming you use plastic lenses

  • I always thought my lenses were glass, but now I'm not sure. LOL

  • dude howd it get that way

  • Born blind, cyro surgery corrected it, the vision is improving, I'm now at 20/70 WITH my glasses.

  • Wow, it is great the vision is improving...best wishes.

  • Listen dude. We need to get you some pussy! Just dont blow your head off any time soon. If you think of doing that pls let me know. Ill change your mind. FYI, I got a spot on my eye Im going to get checked out today. Ill let you know the results

  • Hey rml695, I've noticed that your glasses seem to be that of an older style. I'm not trying to comment on the fashion aspect but rather the thickness of the lenses. I have an astigmatism and I recently got a new pair with a stronger prescription than my last pair but whats amazing is that the glass is almost half the thickness of my last pair. I can imagine those lenses weigh heavily on the bridge of your nose. Perhaps a new pair would be more comfortable? Anyways thanks for all your vids!

  • My prescription is such that doing something like you suggest is an unknown right now. I have no idea what technology is out there but from what I remember, there was nothing new last I was told. This was about a year or two ago - my prescription is extremely powerful because of my condition, which is Retinopothy of Prematurity.

  • Ah i see. Well hopefully with the vast advances in medical technology on the horizon, a better solution will present itself. Thank you for being so open about your condition. It takes real courage.

  • I hope your vision stays steady.

  • I'm hoping so, too, and thanks.

  • Yo man, Respect all the way

It takes courage to make a video to the public like that

is there any possible way to get your right eye back??

  • Once the retina is detached, it's gone forever. So, unfortunately, no.

  • sorry to read that

i'm sure technology will come around that one day

    wish you well

  • Is there anything you can do to excersise your sight? I've been doing many an anti-arthritis excersise recently but is there anything you can do for your eyes?

  • Unfortunatley not. The condition is so fragile that we can't take any chances.

  • my vision is 20/200 in both eyes

    Is that good?

  • Is this 20/200 with correction or without? If it's without, then without correction you are legally blind. If it's with correction, then you are legally blind under all circumstances.

  • man dud i know how u feel i can bearly see i have been loosing my vision because i havent been wearing my glasses that much

  • dude if any body says anything bad about u jus remember u r super smart

  • I'm on with you Budy!!!

  • that's sooo messed up that people would make fun of you just because you look a little different. i try not to take things like vision, mobility, etc. for granted because you can't get those things back once they're gone.

  • why do people bash you because your vision impared? lol, there probably a bunch of gumbys that cant take on someone as full as themselves.

  • very good points

  • You make a very good point!

I cannot stand when others make fun of others for having problems. I really hope that these people that make fun of others learn that its not funny.

I wish you the best and I will pray for you dude.

  • i got a gene were my eyes are bad...i kno how u feel i am basically blind without my glasses and dont worry my eyes are basicaly not there i can type because i kno my keyboard very well but like writing a test i need my glasses. i tried watching a movie without my glasses and basically i saw blurs that looked like a carpet. it looks like its not there.

  • its bullshit that people bash you like that... your just trying to make good information videos (which of course you do) and these stupid kids leave terrible comments,

anyone who even thinks about bashing you can go fuck themselves, cause they obviously dont see that your not letting there comments hurt you..theyre just wasting their time

    great video dude

  • yes i can relate. i have been blind in my left eye since birth because of a tumor that is on it and my right eye is slowly getting worse and worse... i have managed to live with one eye but i'm slowly losing vision in my right so i make sure to wear glasses. not just to see through them but also as protection for the eyeball itself.

  • Your'e right people do take things for granted

  • dont worry i know what it is like to be blind im compleately Blind and get people being bullying me for it

I touch type with my partner helping me

  • this guy is so rite. i got glasess to and i cant see out of arms lengthn. but i feel bad for this guy. but not to bash you or anything but dude, just smile more. i no its hard with so many aholes out there but just smile.

  • i had VoiceOver in my Computers in Art class, but i had the girl July's voice, she sounds nicer than that guy...lol

HEYY what happend to you on msn ???????????

  • yep i agree people these days take too many things for granted just because you have it now or you were born with it does not mean that your going to have it for the rest of your life..things happen and life happens so stop taking everything for granted becaue just like that it could all be gone and then where would you be?? and i dont care if my grammer is not perfect.. i will get through it trust me.

  • hmm i agree whit you rml695 but i rember a couple years ago in my midile school computer class they had some type of free ware that was a voice over screen reader and even some of the kid i knew used it and there was 16% blind or visually impaired there t that school and my best friend got hit in the head with a ball and then got hit again right after but the impact was so bad e went blind but he knew how to use the screen reader over yes 90% of people take vision for Granted

  • Dude you are simply brilliant...

I have good sight but a really obvious divergent squint, so no 3d vision. My wife lost an eye when she was young.

The world is full of #*@&# selfish bastards who have no regard for the difficulties that some people have with what they take for granted.

    Good on you !

  • Excellent video man...really informative...people take not only their vison for granted but also many tother things such as their health, money, status and stuff like that that can be gone in a nick of time. I totally agree with you, people aren't immortal or super heroes how many of them tend to think. Once again, good job. Hope people pay attention to it and start thinking about it. We never know what we're gonna be like tomorrow.

  • Are people so idiotic as to hassle you about the strength of the glasses, as if that were a choice? Or are they so idiotic as to believe that blindness is some all-or-nothing proposition, or that glasses can completely correct every vision problem that exists? Are you supposed to go around with much worse vision just because your glasses can't give you perfect correction?!!

The bottomless ignorance of people never ceases to amaze me. If only these cretins could see just how little they know.

  • Yet another great informative video on what it is like to be visually impaired. I think anyone who criticizes or ridicules you because you need glasses to see 'clearly' is truly an a.h.!

  • you did an excellant job, explainging this concept good video

  • i think that it's bullshit that people bash on you just because you are visually impaired. i'm visually impaired, but not to the extent as you are. i've had glasses ever since kindergarten and i've been made fun of countless times. see, we live in a world where people think everyone should be perfect, and when someone who's not comes into picture, they bash them just because they weren't born with good eye vision. i understand where you come from.
