I'll bet my pension these peopel were Red Diaper Babies (children of american communist party members in the 1950s) and part of the counter-culture in the 60s.

This piece of human garbage was lecturing the US and UK over Iraq while at the State Dept...must have loved "peace" too much, i.e., the no freedoms and murder/jail if you complain kind Cuba offers.
The left has little to do with this matter. There are just as many untrustworthy folks on the right. The US spends 100 to one spying on Cuba as it does on us. The US is the one with the history of intervention, murder of revolutionary and resistance leaders, overthrowing govts in Latin America, and subjugation of whole nations to work towards our self interests instead of their own.
inter: Yes, there are no shortage of trolls on the far Right. But there's a difference here. Both Right/Left are pretty good about condemning violent extremists...like the Tiller murderer and the nut who murdered the guard at the Holocaust museum.
The difference is that the Left cannot quite bring themselves to condemn people who act (supposedly) on Marxist or anti-capitalist principles. Criticism of these spies from the Left has been muted...just like for William Ayers.
It has been alleged and quite possibly proven that the state department is full of communist and communist sympathizers for years; this does not surprise me except that is sounds funny after all these years to hear there are Cuban spies.
These two should have their heads sawed off on public television.
Do you think the libs at PBS' Frontline will clear an episode spot for it?
