  • English please ;(

  • I was diagnosed by a therapist with this condition, never believed her. But what you are saying really apply's to me. I don't have friends, i'm paranoid and don't like crowds. If i'm schizotypal, i'm at least a mild case.

  • stupid video so believe in God and something better then this fuck world that I have to live in make me a schizotype personality. I LOVE IT.....

  • When you get sick of societies bullshight, one must go "schizotypal"

  • Ugh, Psychiatry forces no one to take their pills. Some troublemakers, perhaps, but no one of sound mind.

  • 7:45 i present you Gene hackman....

  • Are you guys watching all of these personality disorder disorder videos? According to these vids, I have Borderline, Antisocial, Schytzotypal, shizoid, HYPOCHONDRIAC, Avoidant, Bipolar, major deppressive, Schizophrenia, Paranoid personality, Multiple personality disorder, blah blah blah...... For me though, it all stems from poor parenting. But honestly, it's because all I did as a kid and even now, at 18, am too afraid of going outside. Why? No idea. I guess

  • @AndrewWerdna1000 Not, be in any way condescending, the fact is that we all have some of these traits within our personality. Sometimes we are schizoid, sometimes borderline, sometimes maybe even bipolar to a small degree. And yes, even I have these traits, and guess what that makes me, a totally normal human being warts and all.

  • @PsychDoctorate But people who have these disorder don't sometimes and kind of have these symptoms. If you don't feel it to the EXTREME than you don't have it.

  • Comment removed

  • @AndrewWerdna1000 and because poure perenting means they had to work hard, and still won't have shit left at the end of the month. so they get stressed out end you don't get that much love and attention.

So you don't have that much respect for your people outside and you think that you need money so you can ''behaive'' but it's not money its LOVE YOU NEED, WE ALL NEED.

But this world it's driving crazyer in the minute ! But please live ! do it for me you are worth being here.

    Don't be afraid

  • @AndrewWerdna1000 It could end any minute and you would regret spending it in fear, doubt and guilt.

I know it is hard, I'm 18 myself and with all the terror going on in the world sometimes I feel like I don't deserve to be happy. There are people dying of honger women get massal rapped. and I'm laughing here happy.

But I deserve to, I am no bad person... just because I had bad perenting and had figure all the shit out bymyself doesn't mean that the faults I made, make me deserve less ??

  • @AndrewWerdna1000 There is no way you have all those disorders in one....

  • @AndrewWerdna1000 You may have the majority of the symptoms.. but to have the disorder the symptoms must be much more severe than you think... Just because one has mild allusions of supernatural abilities does not make them schizotypal....Every human being has most of these traits within them... you have the disorder when you entire personality is dominated by these traits.

  • this disorder is kinda stupid. it's a way of trying to discredit the occult, psychics, and astrologers. what about those who follow accepted religions? now even though it is a "societal norm"-the beliefs are truly absurd(the story of moses parting the red sea). so now you think those who are men of knowledge may be schizotypals? not really clear on that... i think this whole lot of telepathy and spiritual evolution should be given some bonafide research. i'm confident it will produce results.

  • The proclamation herein is that if you exhibit these inconsistent behaviours, you are something for society to be wary of, if not outright to fear & re-train like some circus lion. Put the chairs and the whips down please, we do not care what you think. Heed this, schizoid 'disordered' few, you are certainly, definately not broken. These words are whips, these phrases, cages. Leave them be.

  • @zaroffhound And what of those men and women who suffer needlessly from this disorder? Leave them be in their own suffering? Or find a way of helping them overcome the problems associated with this disorder? Please remember this disorder is suspected to be part of the continum of Schizophrenia and may even be a precursor to its full development. It is not just an eccentric way of thinking and behaving, it is much more than that.

  • @PsychDoctorate Indeed, if a behaviour affects functioning of self it needs attending to. I really take issue however, with the wordage & tendancy to generalize something not fully understood nor comprehended completely, and proclaiming these 'faults' in such a way they make the 'bearer' sound dangerous. As you say, schizophrenia has some dangerous elements in behaviour, but the approach used here is to tar every nuanced person with the same brush. That is erroneous labelling.

  • good luck man

  • You sound deeply traumatized by past events in your life.

Perhaps it is time to look deeply within, begin your own self psychoanalysis and start dissolving your own psychic aggregates which sadly, seem to have the better of you at this time.

  • @Zoemaaa In all due respect, you have no understanding of my background and are not in a position to have any clear judgement of me. Please, go at my argument, not at me.

  • @PsychDoctorate hmph..

You can take all the schizo meds you want ........OR

You can acknowledge the marvelous being inside you and nurture it with Truth!

Psychiatry is an industry of death and its days are numbered!

Watch the video Psychiatry: an Industry of Death

    ...just some food for thought!

  • I HAVE TTHIS PROBLEM, ITS HELL

  • The brain is repeating anxious thoughts causing fear and anxiety. Neurofeedback can show where the brain is having trouble and help it to regulate itself.Too much activity in the brain can cause a person to react or should I say overreact to life in general. Look into the healing power of neurofeedback. It seems to be the best kept secret because it doesn't involve drug companies or insurance companies.

  • In regards to these statements:

    1. ( "Most Americans find the Hindu's way of dressing to be peculiar" ) and

    2. ( "It(Hindu's Dress) is peculiar and someways very peculiar". )

I would expect ignorant statements like these from some uneducated backwards individual whose lack of knowledge and appreciation of cultures to say something of this. But for someone in YOUR position is downright disgrace and really insulting.

  • Re:your religion,

If you choose none, you still chose something.

You can't not follow a path even if its your own clever, convenient creation.

Your narrative of the vid subjigates and dehumanizes schizotypals.

Thats contrary to most doctors and peoples goals.

That is why many are unhappy with it.

Imagine yourself as a student in a cage.

    Analyzed.

  • You mapped the biological processes of the brain is all. Big deal. "Look Ma,we took a picture".:-D A beer can do what shrinks do. genius, what genius? Yes,this input will get that, but, whats your ultimate objective regarding thought? Control. Fall in. Conform. Headless Humanity? As for God or whatever,6-7 billion people believing can't be wrong.
  • @YouBlahblah2much Its simply amazing how rigid you are in your thinking. You dismiss such huge things and show a complete lack of rational thought. Well enjoy your opinions, they will not get you very far in life.

  • @schizotypalgrasp Unfortunately facts are not subjective, reality is separate from us. Perceptions are not facts either, even though many people beleive they are.

  • Schizotypalgrasp- You're right:-D. I was misdiagnosed for 27 years. That is,i lost the most productive years of my life to dr's mistakes and drugs and their "i am never wrong attitude". I have nothing and no one as a result. There has been no follow up. I might be resentful;-). Good thing for my own inner strengths. Thanks for pointing out the students oversight. Its 2 am here. I'm going for a bike ride. Theres no one out there now.
  • @YouBlahblah2much Dude move forward! and a piece of advice from someone who was also wrongly assessed, get angry and fight back the right way. In other words, grow up and get a little backbone.

Yep I was also assessed as being Schizotypal. A lot has changed since then.

  • You're a student huh? I've been studying "doctors" since 1978.

Only one dr. Was correct ONCE.

And that dr wasn't even sure of being right.

So,i'm not going to waste my time with an angry, emotional, poorly spoken and written student.

But,if you want my guidance, maybe i'll help if you ask nicely.

Til you calm yourself,we are done.

Just one thing, change your career goals.

I never met a happy shrink.

    Work with children.its very fulfilling.

    G'day and g'luck.

  • @schizotypalgrasp Acutally to accept answers as fact is not a successful means of determining anything. It can lead one to make innacurate and highly dangerous judgements. Think about the antisocial or the substance abuser, they live in denial and lie all the time. But to them they believe their lies and delusions.

By the way, there are doctors who listen and there are doctors who don't regardless of their orientation.

  • Having read more...(yawn)

Why don't we like the vid?

Becuz U DON'T Know it all.

U can map the gene code because it is physical BUT,

U can't map the mind itself.

    Before u sleep,i know u think.U ponder and u can't answer why u think.

    What causes that thought doc?

    Also,what is conscience doc?

Not the obvious, but the thing that brought ur brain to life and will continue after your body can't.

U can't presume to answer that even with a doctors ego.

  • @YouBlahblah2much Thoughts and conciousness are part of a biological process. There is no proof that conciousness continues on after death. And no I don't know it all, you are making that assumption. You obviously don't like my video and I suspect because it offends your "beliefs". by the way I am not attacking faith or religion, but superstitious belief systems. There is a difference and a big one.

  • @YouBlahblah2much Actualy we have mapped the mind and quite successfuly. It was also done by one pure genius nearly 2500 years ago. There are still some thing which are not well know, but we know more now than ever before. By the way, I am not religious, I am an atheist and a buddhist. There is no afterlife, no proof only subjective experiences of people claiming to have the answer, but it looks a lot like psychosis to me.

  • @PsychDoctorate You sound very left brain! There are many who are coming forth and admitting that there's much more about consciousness that is not yet mainstream because the elite, want to continue pushing ppl to their crafted religions, system of beliefs, thought programming & control. I happen to remember living somewhere prior to this life and we researched all of the data and everything that I remembered was confirmed! Face it, you map the brain but consciousness is not in the bain!

  • @PsychDoctorate The brain is more like an interface for consciousness to examine, analyze and study what is being experienced and perceived. We are no more our brains than we are our computers! You left brained people with your false sense of 'education' really have a lot to learn.

  • Keep this in mind people...

This "doctor" represents a medical field that scooped out one of the famous Kennedy's brains with a spoon like tool til she couldn't recall what her name was.

    Barbaric guesswork!

Just like Hitlers doctor with the disabled.

Phychiatry is murder for profit and recreation and should be 'controlled' by moral citizens.

  • @YouBlahblah2much and your opinion can be backed up by what evidence? Yes there are some attrocities which happen, but the body of success stories and case studies dont really support your perceptions. Look at the facts then come back with an educated answer based on facts rather than your feelings which can be mislead.

  • Hey doc

The medical field has no solid facts to denouce peoples experieces like deju vu and mistic behaviour as irrational or delusional.

    what about einstein?

Was he messed up by advanced magical thinking/great ideations as you would say or,was he advanced like many schizotypals but free to express himself?

Incidently, all you repeated is just that.

Prove what some of can sense beyond what you can is just chemical.

  • @YouBlahblah2much Really so we have no solid facts? What a truly uneducated and ignorant statement that is, have you ever heard of MRI, CAT scans, PET scans, and Sonograms to name a few. And that does not include X-Rays which are very primitive but still very useful.

Prove what you say is not just chemical? I can back up my assertion and statement with scientific literature.

Its people you who are attempting to normalize pathological behaviro and that makes me sick!

  • hi, could you explain what is meant by social anxiety caused by paranoid fears? what is an example of paranoid fears? Thank you,

  • crock

  • ok dude one thing i hav a problem with many people is wen they try to formulate an argument with ignorance...b4 u try creating an argument against something how about u first experience and "learn" from the other side of it and c why peoples perception changes ...its not a new age fad, all it is, is jst esoteric practices that date back thousands of years...it seems ur not paying attention to the whole forest but jst the mere tree....i hope u really look into it and gain wisdom and intuition.

  • @FloresRain OK dude, I have been there, done it, tranced it, felt it believed it and then dude I rejected it wholehearted. Personal subjective experiences which other human beings cannot corroborate are symptoms of mental health issues, not spirituality. That combined with superstitious belief systems is part the issue with people who suffer from this disorder.

  • @PsychDoctorate then tell me exactly wat u were able to do then since u obviously been there and done it...

  • Why are so many people disliking this video? What does "New Age religion" imply? It means someone wasn't happy or content enough with existing spiritual/supernatural belief systems, so the person felt the need to create an entirely new system of spiritual/supernatural rituals and beliefs. Just because the video didn't mention "mainstream" religions doesn't mean it's wrong. That's like saying Einstein theory of relativity disproved Newtonian physics. It just remodeled an incomplete theory.

  • Chances are if you feel the need to CREATE A NEW RELIGION, there might be something neurologically wrong with you. And I don't mean "wrong" in a moral sense. I mean that in a, "Here's your brain. Here's 50 other peoples' brain. X region of your brain takes up significantly less volume compared to the controls." Some dude here said that in Psychology 101 he learned that psychology is a pseudo-science -- that's wrong. Modern psychology upholds to the scientific method.

  • You're thinking of Freudian/Jungian psychoanalytical psychology. In that case you are right -- back in the day they didn't have fMRIs and CT scans. However, that doesn't mean Freud or Jung was wrong. It just means their theories were not based on rigid scientific method. That's not the case today because of modern brain imaging techniques. Modern psychology = neurobiology.

  • Robert Sapolsky (professor of neuroscience at Stanford. He has an entire neuroscience lecture series on YT. watch?v=LNSe4Ff57n4)

He said, "The critical thing with schizotypal shamanism is, it is not uncontrolled the way it is in the schizophrenic. This is not somebody babbling in tongues all the time in the middle of the hunt. This is someone babbling during the right ceremony. This is not somebody hearing voices all the time, this is somebody hearing voices ONLY AT THE RIGHT TIME."

  • I believe he is describing anxiety and depression. The fear aspect of this "disorder" is what makes it a "disorder". If your ability to see realities beyond the social norm opens doorways to new relationships, opportunities, and joy, what is the problem??

  • He says that those suffering from schitzotypal personality disorder are vague and stereotypical then goes on to immediately give an extremely vague description of how they might act this way with stereotyping women.

  • This video is a pile of shit. I barely got through a minute of it before having to take a break of hearing this nonsense enter my ear. Oh, and I guess I have a disorder too, haha.

  • It is true that people that have this have this disorder do take to New Age religion. My son wanted to know about Unitarian Universalists. and went to a few meetings!!

  • I'm thinking there is an egocentric predicament contained within this video.

As far as brainwashing is concerned, it comes in many forms and some extremely sophisticated.

  • The problem is, you cannot quantify the qualitative. Behavior is quantitative in nature, but experience is qualitative in nature. Thus, the experience of someone who believes themselves to have contacted beings from other dimensions can never truly be known by anyone else except by the one making this claim. To try to categorize every small aspect of humanity using 1's and 0's is extremely limited. The intellect is only one small part of the entirety of all that is, was, and ever will be.

  • @Zeldenhiem Yet, simply relying on intuition alone causes a person to form beliefs based upon the whims of the imagination. "I want God to exist, therefore I will imagine God and call this God real." This is also unacceptable, because there is no more solidity and structure... no foundation upon which to base experience. A most interesting conundrum. I find it puzzling that you did not speak of the belief in God and major religions, who would also fall into the 'Schizotypal' category.

  • @Zeldenhiem (cont) The only difference from major religions and those claiming to be psychic is that, with religions, you have a mass of people believing the same thing, but with psychics, you have individuals who form unique metaphysical beliefs unto themselves. No one psychic will believe in the same spirit guides, although there are common ones in certain cases, such as 'Archangel Michael.'

  • @Zeldenhiem When involving the subjectivity of experience itself, there's really no way to know if there are actual entities on other dimensions or not. Relying on external behavior alone to categorize internal experience is like trying to know what an orange is using only scientifically measurement. What about eating the orange? Is eating the orange just a different way of trying to know what the orange is? Is this other way any less valid?

  • This whole made up disorder is unnecessary and dumb. Scientists and doctors are very narrow minded and need to label anything that they don't understand, so they make up stuff and slap a label on it.

  • is stephen hawking narrating?

  • Comment removed

  • is there a disorder for people who think they can turn water into whine? or a disorder for people who think a person came back to life 3 days later? or a disorder that god TOLD THEM to write some laws on stone and follow them. or perhaps a disorder for people who follow the people who experienced or did these things?

  • For a while, you were on a verge of starting to develop spiritually, when investigating spiritual and metaphysical gems, but now you have taken a hiatus of sorts. Not a heavy one.

  • When human consciousness will be found to be capable of perception and projection of etheric body vehicle across various dimensional fields, we will be looked upon as heroes, basically. When psychic abilities will be disclosed and demonstrated after millennia of spiritual blindness, we will be looked upon as teachers. We are not merely our physical or etheric body vehicles. The ignorance and arrogance of social robots shall be demonstrated without question.

  • Reality is more than your sick robotic mind can tolerate.

  • Social robot speaking.

  • @Katara888Energy

    Social robot with programmed excuses.

  • I love you man! (I do want your Bud Light.) Your page is dark. Your message is off center to me. Down grading others is not your calling. Look within for your healing. I have no degree in anything except my life lived. Perusing an education in psychotherapy is credible for a mainstream agenda. Will it really Last?

  • its not a disorder but rather a defense mechanism cause i fit into that category.. its is caused by huge amounts of trauma..

  • LOL! STOOOOOP Just plain ignorance

  • this is the most ridiculous propaganda i have ever seen

  • Well I truly believe you need to investigate what your stating in this video much deeper. I do respect your truth. Thats how i made it through the entire video . . but this seems very incomplete to say the least. I'm sure many have pointed this out already.

No disrespect at all. just baffled by the incomplete information. I hope this isn't a joke and your for real because I would normally not bother but feel you are limiting your research and consciousness. No I'm not a "new ager" nor religious

  • so then jesus was also schitzobullshit personality...

  • lmfao! this guy is an idiot..

  • lmfao!!! this tickles me so. he sounds like an idiot.

  • I wonder who funded this so called research? Who were the subjects used to draw their conclusions? I think that its very interesting that they are tying this disorder to people who think more along the so called new age way of seeing things but where's the disorder for the billions who accept religions? I BET you a LOAD of dough that many of those psychiatrists are religious, which has some of the same kind of belief and thinking that the new age has! As the brits would say, THIS IS RUBBISH!!!

  • in the first minute and thirty-four seconds, you've labeled every religion on earth, along with there followers, as scitzo. how convenient for the pshycologists, who practice a FAKE science.(the first thing I was tought in psych. 101, was that it is not accepted by the international scientific community as a real science .If you give someone enough poisen(drugs) , there bound to end up crazy.

  • Utter contrived BS, probably Rockerfella funded lol, to stigmatise individuals who are undergoing evolutionary change in consciousness. I'm surprised they didn't add 'conspiracy theorism' to the list of 'symptoms'. God, I'm so pleased I'm not 'normal'.

  • DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS GUY, IF YOURE NUTS YOURE NUTS, IF YOURE NOT NORM GOOD!

  • rofl this is funny. You say these people have been brainwashed, but you seem too far gone to acknowledge that you yourself have been brainwashed into believing what you do. There is ZERO evidence to support any DSM labels. Nothing to say they really exist. Psychiatry is a system of power, profit, and control. 'Mental illness' labels are used for control.

Please feel free to argue me, I'm doing psychology myself. You want references? Articles? You got it. The current psych views are wrong.

  • This is bullshit !!! These "doctors" are social conditioned and programmed to be just a bunch of robots. Sheesh

  • @EucharistOfHypnos I agree with you dude but I wouldn't bother arguing, considering he seems to have more "intelligence" and is using that against you, therefore you are wrong and people will believe him, even if you are right, he is still counted as more intelligent because of a piece of paper, even if he is wrong.

  • @XSeanxMeowX & EucharistOfHypnos : Indeed. If this person want to live in his personal world of limited and self-limiting believes, i leave him be. He'll find out that there is much more to life than he ever thought possible.

Its funny though : when 95 out of 100 people have a commen believe, and the 5 other see it different : the 5 are labeled crazy, menetally ill or whatever. Depicts in what type of society/culture we live in. Intelligence does not count as wisdom, or truth for that matter

  • so apparently I have schizotypal personality disorder... well, good. why should I have to be like everybody else. I am a functioning and productive member of society but if I don’t apply myself totally to culture or subculture norms I have a disorder. that’s okay though, normality is fucking boring. I feel bad for you “normal people” lol

  • I have respect for all religions equally. I identify myself as a Muslim but I only think it’s one path to spirituality, and in my opinion, new age religions are just as credible and valid as Abrahamic religions. I think that people take mainstream religions to justify their bs and use it as a tool for power or control, political reasons, etc. It’s sad.

This man is an idiot. like, people who don’t apply to social norms have a disorder? give me a fucking break. what is normal anyways?

  • Then how do you treat this? Abilify, Geodon, perhaps or some other psychotropic agent. Something that involves the pharmaceutical industry. Perhaps Scizotypical personality disorder is the paranormal which psychology can't explain or refuses to believe. That is not thought in universities. But ask the priest or eastern doctor or medicine man who does an exorcism .. That is just a type Scizotypical personality disorder. How many people will suffer because of this type of thinking.

  • SpecaillI believe EVERYONE suffers from this Personality Disorder to be more specific, a MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER or (MPD)

Specially people who have No Spiritual ethics such as: Most Doctors, Government leaders, and any Organization that has to do with Government relations.

~ Ego is the Disorder, and Everyone has Ego!

Altho this Video is Clearly mostly an Opinion and Not a Scientific Proof There for ONLY AN OPINION

  • You sir, are very wrong. watch?v=hKrNOHeg0tY

  • Wow, this is just sad and the most riduculous video i have prob seen in a long time, i really hope peopl are not beliving this crock of shit

  • organized religion is mind control!

  • I feel sorry for the loser who developed this stupid disorder...also for any person who actually believes this shit.

  • This is super BULLSHIT! I can't believe that these people would stoop this low to hide the fact that reality is far more fluid than we have been taught! If they were to label a characteristic as a disease or disorder, IT SHOULD BE RELIGIONS! Look at all of the killing, wars, hate and evil spawned out of that shit and justified by some invisible man in the sky or some evil man living under ground! What kind of attrocities have such people that these goons label in this way brought to the world?

  • this is all bullshitt...let's label the world with personality disorders, hey check it out, that kid likes burger king fries better than macdonald fries, MUST B A PERSONALITY DISORDER, LETS LABEL IT FRIESPHRENIA , fuckk this media bsed bullshitttt, brain washing pos video

  • I WOULD SAY : STFU!!!! YOU A-HOLE!!!

  • So mind controlling is real???

  • Why the bias towards non-Abramic faiths? does the creator of this video not think that their are people within the Jewish, Christian, or muslim faiths with this same disorder?

  • @ReligiousSkeptic exactly.. ANY type of religion can bring darkness if abused or used as a tool for whatever a person is trying to justify. it’s all the same.

  • @paniuroczy My point was not in favor of one particular fath or another, it was simply an inquiry into why the creator of this video seems to have a bias towards certain faiths having a higher tendency towards psychological problems while others do not. I'm not trying to push one faith over another insofar as it relates towards the discussion of psychological topics. As for your statement, you are 100% correct.

  • @ReligiousSkeptic yes, you are right. he is most certainly biased when it comes to religions that are not mainstream. any of them can be dubbed as having 'magical thinking', as much as I am proud to be a muslim, all religions are irrational and have 'magical thinking'. all religions should be treated the same. to rule out a specific group of religions as those that would cause some particular personality disorder is just bullshit.

  • This guy has clearly taken his clinical knowledge and customized it to his limited, stereotypical generalizations about people in today's society. This is one of the most dangerous vids I've seen on youtube so far...a guy using his clinical authority to create stereotypes and prejudices about people due to his ignorance and arrogance.

  • it's funny that psychology targets harmless "new age religions" and ignores mainstream religions. What a bunch of stupid bullshit.

  • @PsychDoctorate I take it you're a person of faith? I've studied them, too. Thelema, Wicca, Satanism -- pretty much any modern western occultism is far less harmful than the Abrahamic trio of hate. I'm not religious, but I have far more respect for a person who's at least willing to question social guidelines, whether or not I agree with the result. These people deserve the same respect that any other person of any other faith deserves. A belief in magic is no more insane than a belief in god.

  • @EucharistOfHypnos From your statement I can tell you have not studied anything about any major religion, perhaps on a surface level, but not anything else. You also have no understanding of the source of nearly all the "New Age" religions. Yes, people of difference deserve respect, but this disorder is not about faith, religion or spiritual, rather metaphysical and magical belief systems as part of the constelation of problems with the disorder.

  • @EucharistOfHypnos (cont) and despite your claim about magic being no more insane than a belief in God, a belief in magic can lead one down a slippery slope to a very dark place. It does not lead one to have this PD disorder, but it can start to lead one down a path away from reality towards a very dark place. I have seen it happen more often than not, and I was heavily involved with new age thought for quite some time.

  • @PsychDoctorate What sort of "dark place" are you talking about? Oh my god, you don't mean... dancing?! THE HORROR.

A belief in god can lead to a "dark place" that's vastly more harmful than any wiccan bullshit

It's amazing that criticism sets you off so violently. My religious education isn't perfect, but it's definitely not lacking. I know a great deal about late 19th/early 20th century western occultism and I spent a good five years studying mainstream american religion at school.

  • @PsychDoctorate What you need to do is take a breath, step the fuck back, and realize that not everyone had a horrible experience like you did. Not every christian is a right-wing gay-hating fundamentalist who wants to murder black people. Not every new age hippie is a psychotic con artist who will steal your money and molest your children. There are many of these, but you can't throw away the whole based on a single part. If you did that, then you'd have to get rid of every ideology.

  • @PsychDoctorate A belief in god or any other mainstream religion can also lead a person into a dark place. It is how that person takes the facts that are presented by such a religion. You also need to know occult religions such as Wicca is under the constitution a religion and has full rights. It is also always those people with radical thoughts that you Label under this Disorder. You can also look into history and see this. Wasn't jesus a radical at his time?

  • Comment removed

  • @EucharistOfHypnos yeah they dont dare accuse Christians of this or Islam

  • @EucharistOfHypnos main stream science doesn't accept psycology as a real science. It's the first thing I learned in high school psych, and psych 101 in college. Therefore, it is a pseudo science, just like dowsing for wells, or psychics. although, in all three fields, there is some solid proof of sorts, alot of it is bull designed for profit. how many doses a day does the religous population of the world need?

  • @PsychDoctorate...Really? Are you serious with this video?

  • Id Actually very much like to debate this, at its core this video is very right indeed. But its the reference to that people ticks me off. I do not follow cults im actually not suggestible at all.I follow me and actually stick to my concepts, claiming these cult people are false. Secretly hoping for a bit theres actual psychological minds reading this. Maybe even shaping the craft for a bit. In my case and in more cases it can be found to be crosstalk between the auditive and visual cortexes.

  • Causing synesthesia. Witch implies more of a terminal growth rather than a lack of functionality. Also these people tend to isolate themselves and study study study. Actually making them very hard to discredit. Basicly only to help them out having comfort of living. I know saying this I may represent smaller numbers of schizotypal person. But i know theres more like me. And I can see the cause for offence being cross referenced as gullible.

  • To the folks who are complaining about some of this video's assertions: suggesting that the SZPD is prevelent among New Agers is not more off-base than the antisocial PD is rife among the prison population.

  • part2:)

In fact it starts out very fearful in distrust (in my case), and comes in very hard because the reality of life is very hard. on the contrary my sense of self boosted because i saw people are all unhappy. and wondered why i was afraid of not being acknowledged by them. In essence they were`nt even paying attention.

later on i grew into trusting again, was able to lift "the weight of the world".

So foregive me for thinking this is a painfully mixed blessing.

And in that sense a sense.

  • What if this sense keeps giving accurate info about reality. like an eye.

i enjoy/suffer "the light". I believe god exists, and this maybe a window. The result im not afraid to die. Im trying to be as objective as i can. i do not believe anything but science.

So im agnostic at my core. I do not believe cluster A type people tend to be on the foreground at the same time. And i do not believe it is a disorder. more of a blessing.

please dont mix up disorders. out of letters here respond plz :) ?

  • i think this is 1 personality disorder that is a crock of shit!!

  • Ok so I watched the video, and read all the comments. This video seems a touch slanted towards smearing new age culture. Otherwise decent enough video. My question to you would be how many of these "new age" folks do you actually know? "I don't exactly mean the celebrity ones" how much would it alter your perception of this topic were you to be willing to view it from this angle? Perhaps you have, but I'm guessing you have not.

  • Sorry but I don't find this video to be of much help and frankly find a lot of it to be judgmental and xenophobic. You have posted celebrity examples who do not have verified Schizotypal Personality Disorder.

Moreover your video generally lacks substantial examples of the actual disorder. I must question if you actually have a doctorate.

  • @CheezInspector I agree. This guy is not talking logical about the mental health disorder itself. He's just speaking his own bias and discriminatory views based on his own belief systems which are irrational generalizations.

  • @zreynold2, yeah, people have to be really careful to take things with a big grain of salt when online. Anyone can claim to have a doctorate. People lie about it all the time.

  • OMG I HAD A FRIEND WITH THIS!!! HIS NAME IS ALEX DOLF!!!!

  • Okay- many superstitions often occur with various cultural backgrounds.

I guess it is wrong to have ANY interest in the paranormal as wel. If you just might have psychic abilities- it looks like you are in trouble here.

Dressing offbeat is another no-no. But hey, Lady GaGa is making big money off that oddity(eyes rolling).

Being a lone wolf and being okay with being by yourself also appears to be a no-no. THIS PERSONALITY DISORDER NEEDS TO BE EITHER ERADICATED OR REVISED!

  • diagnosing an author with a personality disorder is bad ethics and bad science

  • @mmmpoetry So what would you say about Ekert Tolle? His works are not sound nor are they based on any solid core teachings. He puts people into trance states. His description of his "transformation" is more akin to a despression followed by a manic eppisode and or a complete dissociation? Lets start to call a spade a spade and behavior for what it is. People like John Gray, ET and others are either con artists and praying on people or totally self deluded. and sylvia brown is a fraud!

  • @PsychDoctorate you are the one who is obviously a fraud

  • @mmmpoetry just a prime example of an attack of character. Now I ask you plainly can you back that up with any proof. I fully acknowledge that I am only a graduate student and I also admit my own mistakes. How can you prove that I am a fraud? Because you "know it" thats called certainty and is not a valid means of testing the truth or reality.

  • @PsychDoctorate the proof is this video and your responses. you are maligning authors with whom you have never spoken - you have no idea about their behaviors. it's unethical to diagnose public figures.

  • @mmmpoetry Once again, look at their behaviors, background, actions and words. How and why is it unethical to have criticisms about public figures? Especially those whom may harm people, like Sylvia Brown clearly has in the Shawn Hornbeck case? I dont need to speak with someone directly if they have a huge degree of PR . You can tell a lot about an individuals character or personality through these things. Besides, the behavior I mention are an example of a PD trait not an assessment.

  • @mmmpoetry NO what you are saying is that I have no right to have an opinion or point of view. You are being hypocritical. I am not making assessments, look very carefuly. I am calling behavior for what it is. I also make the point at the end of this and other videos that these are examples of "traits" not an assessment.

  • @mmmpoetry

They put themselves out there so anyone can criticise them.

  • I MUST MUTE THIS COLLEGE-LEVEL LANGUAGE, FOR IT IS CONFUSING ME BEYOND REPAIR.

  • there is something about the criteria of personality disorders. Looking at the evolution, philosophers of the mind are needed to find out why pd's are 'designed in evolution' I think this is a major thing.

Also the question " who is unhappy" an "why" related to pd's is a #1 thing to ask. Things are processed to start a change. If you have a problem with pd's maybe ask yourself: Do I have a problem? ps im diagnosed ' schizotypal'

  • this is the best explanation of what had happened

  • Wow, this is super biased and this is coming from a MA counseling psych grad. I'm sorry, but like others I take offense. This is culturally insensitive. I'm sorry, but I'm tired of New Age bashing and I'm tired of people bashing. According to the way you have laid out your video I would have to say that most of the worlds population has SPD because most individuals have some sort magical thinking practices when it comes to their spirituality/religion.

  • When the Hollow Earth Theory is proven and Nessie is found, we won't we Schizotypal, we'll be heroes!

  • So now the field is trying to attack religion? That believing in an inner voice or a God for that matter makes you delusional. Thats a load of crap. I wonder if Rockerfeller or any other of the rich globalist satanists are behind what is depicted in our medical books. I am working on being a doctor myself and would never diagnose someone because of a religious belief as a schizotypal personality disorder. I find that rather offensive that that would even be considered a symptom.

  • @Gtrplyr1 There is a clear distinction between cosmological belief systems and supstitious belief systems. Cosmological belief systems do not incorporate aspects of magical thinking or belief in human beings possessing supernatural powers. Superstitious belief systems incorporate aspects of metaphysical belief systems such as seeing auras, being clairvoyant, seeing the future, etc, etc. etc. I am not arguing the validity of cosmological belief systems or true faith, I leave that for others.

  • @PsychDoctorate I only say that, because quite frankly your version and symptoms of the disorder to me sounded like a bit of an attack on religion and not just on the clairvoyant /tarot card dependability. Now that you explained it i see what you intended.

  • i think i have this. im always telling my gf that thru pessimism i have become clairvoyant.

  • You claim that New Age Guru´s might have a narcistic personality next to the addition of having shizoid personality disorder, then says not real clear on that.

You can´t see that there is a minor correlation of compositions of a character pursuiting New Age, that is the most unclear, emotional, irrational accusation, assumation one can make.

Your personality manifest as soulles, mindless, uncreative and easily manipulated. Brainwashed by your schools. Go eat a banana.

  • @TheWayshowerTube So you know me and my background and you have done assessments and personality profiling. You are showing a level of arrogance, conciet and immaturity and are just attacking my character. Bye bye!

  • What I hear is a person speaking that is manufactured product by the illuminati indoctrination university schoolprograms.

  • @TheWayshowerTube Can you prove your accusations with any level of evidence? No I think not. Once again you are just attacking my character, showing everyone how rigid your own thinking is and are completely deluded and perhaps indoctrinated into false spiritual beleif systems. Get an education, learn to think critically, learn to deal with abiguity, develop some moral reasoning and then we might have a discourse. Until then there is nothing to discuss.

  • @PsychDoctorate i can prove it with solid evidence. take 5 grams of psilocybe mushrooms and stand before the inspection of you own phyci. You wont like wont like what you see and i doubt you even have the courage to try. Maybe the environment is sick, has that ever crossed your mind.

  • @vJpRIzM My friend (and I say that sarcastically), I have had a full blown Psychosis with manic features. I have seen the true ugly depths of the human soul and returned fully. From what you are speaking of, I doubt you could ever do the same. Halucinations and psychotic features from a bad trip can be dealt with when one is in the proper fram of mind. I chose never to use things like psilocybe as they are dangerous to the brain. The environment is not sick, not the natural one that is.

  • @PsychDoctorate (part 1)You’ve got me all wrong doc. The mere fact that a god like profession like yours exists demonstrates how idiotic our culture is. We should not judge the different and weird. From the moment of birth we are told to follow the program and play the game, be this type of person and when you’re not that type of person you are instantly judged, deemed crazy or are not considered normal.

  • @vJpRIzM I think you need to educate yourself on the scientific validity regarding psychology for where it stands today. Your biases and prejudices about psychology show that you are not well educated regarding its history, practice and where it is going. Neuroscience has helped prove the validity of counseling and therapy and opened up the doors for us to understand human behavior and cognition.

  • @PsychDoctorate alright doc, you know it all because they educated in tip top shape. You keep consuming the culture. Get back at me when you have expanded you consciousness.

  • @vJpRIzM How do you know that my conciousness is not expanded? I do not know it all, you are the one pretending to know it all and are poh pohing education and knowledge. Be careful what you say, it expresses a part of what you think.
