  • I had a gaming addiction lol. I made a video of it on my channel. I know it sounds silly to be addicted to a game but it's becoming more and more common now.

  • some of these comments are seriously disgusting. jesus.

  • Hot. Idk about the flowered jacket though

  • smoke weed

  • @axllovesslash u know? people get hooked to weed 2, when they do it enough!

  • i hope she was a happy drunk, she effin boring sober

  • i was addicted to cigarette and alcohol.but i quit both of them.you know how?

i realized i am addicted and after that i started to quit.at first it is necessary to understand that you are addicted.dont say some bullshits like"i drink sometimes a lot" or "all people drink.am i addicted?".

try to understand you are addicted.after that you definitely try to quit.because you dont want to be called an "addict"

  • there's money being made sowhere here in all this hope, I can feel it, please explain otherwise if I'm wrong

  • that was your bottom so you had to get sober or die she's an alcoholic...dahh

  • I found the CURE for addiction and I have proof for this claim. Click on my name and witness Powerful Stories of Freedom. I personally know and have witnessed over 100 addicts who have found True and Lasting FREEDOM after being enslaved by their addictions for so long. I have been through many programs for my addiction, but have never found so much Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love than I have in the program I am in now. And the people I know who have given their stories are experiencing the same!

  • yes your embarrassing your mother if you relapse.

  • Power to you. You went to hell and kicked it in the arse. I only wish I had your strength!

  • "Once the liquor dries... what remains of the man?"

  • Glad they have a relationship now, but didn't this mother ever stop to ask herself...WTF did me and my husband do to make this girl so crazy? After watching the full length video and listening, the mother goes on to say the husband was an alcoholic and she was an enabler. I'm sure she also did a lot of heavy duty shopping and lots of lunches with the gals. I think the mother shut down and neglected her children. The energy she gives off is that of a very selfish person. No wonder the girl ran!

  • could you imagine this woman like buying drugs. "Excuse me sir, i would like one gram of your finest methamphetamine."

  • @OpusDei1321 lol

  • I did an interview with author Dr Simon Casey who specializes in helping people with addictions, mental illness and relationships. You can listen to it for free at my youtube channel. I hope this helps people out there that need information and support.

  • I truly don't understand the appeal to alcohol, or cocaine and amphetamines for that matter... but I guess it just goes against my chemistry. Cannabis is the only mind altering substance that I feel is worthy of being used, alcohol makes me feel ill... different strokes for different folks I guess, I'd prefer not to take anything that can kill me in the short term,.

  • @ChefChris47

A drug is a drug! Whether it's booze, coke, shrooms, LSD, meth, ecstasy...AND YES WEED!!! YOU CAN BECOME ADDICTED TO MARIJUANA! People can become addicted to anything...including people. No drug is "WORTHY" of being used. In you saying that...you have already given it power, and have made it your drug of choice. Marijuana addiction is an awful addiction causing lethargy, stupidity, depression, and a feeling of hopelessness. In the beginning you laugh a lot, but not in the end.

  • @SkankExpose do you have any experience whatsoever with weed? you cannot become physically addicted to marijuana. you can become "mentally" addicted to absolutely anything, yes, but then you could say don't play sports or read books because those are mentally addicting, also.

  • There is hope for the Hopeless that are struggling with addiction. Reformers Unanimous is a faith-based addictions program. We maintain an 82% percent success rate! Check us out @Ruinternational.

  • she grew up in my neighborhood and she visited my school.

  • Well said, Randy109, Compassion is the key, for There by the Grace of God, go You and I

  • While "tough love" works it walks a fine line. You can do the right thing and still fail miserably at helping the addict. Don't just trust you gut instincts, talk to professionals that deal with addicts daily. Many of the professionals are former addicts and can give you advice and help beyond your own capabilities. This is a beautiful story of people communicating and working through a horrific problem. Never judge an addict too quickly...

Thanks to ForaTV for posting this.

  • This Mom gets me so fucking mad because she closes the door on her. that just makes her think that no one gives a shit about her and shell start her addiction again with no care.

If i was the mom or dad, i will never let my darter or son go out in the street like she did with suffer of addiction. I will never ever let my kids go out and sell there body over drugs. That is the most sickest thing that a parent can do.

Drugs are health problems, not criminal problems. Wake Up

  • The Mother was wide awake, this was the only thing she could do to help her daughter. I've been there, my son has been there, believe me this mother is very courageous, it takes a lot for a Mum to do this.

  • Sad to see that you do not have a 'healing' understanding of addiction. With 31 years of sobreity under my belt I can knowledgeably tell you that this Mom TRULY loves her daughter and did the right thing.

  • Mom never stopped loving her, but had to let her go.

Hard to detach, that hurts the most.

  • denvereddennis has shared a video with you on YouTube:

  • Well thank God you finally grew up and matured out of it !!!

  • Don't be too hard on others, just be glad that you didn't have to go thrugh something so terrible lie that.

  • This video is full of it because it depends on the individual person!

Not everyone will respond! Unfortunately some will succumb!

I hate my job! people ask me why I look so mean! They laid off our 4 hour person at work! I know I will be one of the people who does not respond because nobody wants to help HIV positive people

  • I glad for her but god-this book is for oprah and rich woman who need a good cry or people who have never dealt with addiction.I think my story aint much compared to some and that made it hard for me in the begging comparing myself to others and saying-maybe i aint that bad.But my story would blow this out of the water.I wish i came from a great home-had insurence or money to get treatment and got sober 15 years earlier than i did.I should write a book and speak fucked up family in tow.

  • Why not, go out and do it instead of critisizng others

  • i call it like i see it-thats what the comment section is for.anybody with a real story would agree.also-i cant see profiting from it-although i have spent my own time and efforts helping others.stories much worse than this are a dime a dozen anyway.

  • Very touchy story .. I cried while watching it .. Thanks for putting this up .. I forwarded this clip to a friend who is addicted to some kind of substance. I hope this video helps her.

  • Best thing you could have done, well done!

  • Thank you for sharing your powerful story of the true nature of this family illness. Constance Curry is one amazing woman who had the courage to detach with love and ultimately gave her daughter the gift of true love without loving her to death

  • thats the best example of "misery loves company" i ever heard

  • she came 2 our school

  • There but for the grace of God go I! I have 9 years of sobriety now. Thankyou both for sharing your story. This gives me a greater compassion for my mother. <3

  • That's awesome! I pray alot , but still fall in the temptation.

  • never been happier**

  • "Swish: Maria in the Mourning" is the video to watch: when the nightmare comes true.

  • hmmm i'm sure this women had a hard time, but im smoking a spliff a day, drink every other day, yet i live happily have a very well paying job, and im fine. so, dont get such a bad look upon drugs+alcohol

  • lildebmurphy, you must still be using. Are you? Check yourself. Are you employed, or unemployable? I think they have a great job. I can tell be your writting skills, that you are not schooled in proper english. Wake up these women are wonderful

  • you 2 women make me sick. the little drunk there ain't special, rich upper class whiners

    wah wah wah mommy

hahaha what a joke, parents with money and treatment facilities

  • yo lildebmurphy, just cuz you come from parents with money don't mean you were happy. my parents had money and i hated my life and almost got myself killed on accident several times cuz of the stupid shit i did to cope with it. now i have been making minimum wage for over 9 years in a row while raising a son and daughter and i have been never happier and so lucky in my life

  • 12 step speak, going on the circuit and making a buck. yuppie pukes. who cares little girls, get a real job WHINERS

  • Whilst its heartening to see somebody recover from a drink problem - my first thoughts were... more American gush about the pro-addiction ideology, yet again somebody making a fast buck from manipulating vulnerable people - I'm sure you folks love these epiphanies, these great moments of clarity!! I know whats coming...

  • Why don't you properly label this? Alcohol is an addictive drug; and, it is probably the most harmful of all addictive drugs, aside from tobacco. There is no real difference between Alcohol and any other addictive drug, aside from the fact Alcohol causes more problems when abused. We need to stop differentiating between the two, it is a completely fictitious separation. Alcoholism is drug addiction, plain and simple. I say cheers to anyone that can overcome either;but,be real about it.

  • Amen.

  • You are 100000% right in all site. I deal with similar issues and am yet to know the diff if it's politically correct about thout this and how it's spoken.

  • That really means alot ajm48786. I am a recovering alcoholic. It is very hard to overcome. I overcame it with support of friends, family, but the most important was that I found Jesus!!!

  • cool vid.. well done..

  • thank you! keep it simple

  • Awesome story!
