I'm reading tearing down the wall of sound by mick brown while vacation in Hilton Head Island. It's nice reading, googling the song titles, then listening to what this genius turned convicted murderer created back then. Great sound with the limited tracks they had to work with.

It's been a long time since I heard this one, but I remember when it came out in'62 ! I thought it was cool that someone would take that song and really make it rock. Actually they put funk in it. I don't believe that word was used like that back then. Great memories! Good stuff, thanks for posting.
