i cant stop playing the demo. initially, i was excited for the game, but i wasn't day one excited for the game. after downloading the demo, i can't put it down. and i'm only playing the same two levels!! they FINALLY got down the 3D sonic lvls PERFECT. the controls are so friggin smooth and spot on. rail grinding and then jumping through the red hoops is so satisfying. unleashed was way too sloppy to control the 3D parts, Colors was better, but still loose, but here!! the controls are PERFECT.

Only like one or two levels from each game wtf!!! I actually thought they were gonna remake all levels on multiple discs instead they're chosing 1 or 2 levels (of their choice) from each game and putting them on 1 disc (like seriously where the fuck is ice cap and mystic cave zone?) Originally in Sonic Generations they were going to make this as their Chemical Plant modern theme 1:47 But instead they used the TGS live version of it instead. So in short they aren't using that music.

@terasha99 actually no, my sonic experience ended with Sonic3D on the Mega Drive/Genesis, which by the way was awful. I'm a bit old school, never cared much about sonic in 3D. Imo Sonic 2 was and still is the best sonic game. Sonic 3 and S&K had nice levels, but didn't have that extra something that 2 did. My only interest in Sonic Generations lies in the sidescrolling game mode on the old levels.

As I'm about the only fan of Sonic 4, except for two other people in the whole world... the following complaint/annoyance/question is going to seem a bit hypocritical... but why is the Sonic jump sound not the same one that was used in the original games? Was there something wrong with that sound? I'd prefer the original jump sound. This looks pretty damned good, so it's not a deal breaker or anything, I'll be buying Generations!
