From a woman, man is born; within a woman, man is conceived; to a woman a man is engaged and married. A woman becomes a man's friend; through a woman, the future generations come. When a man's woman dies, he seeks another woman; to a woman he is bound. From a woman, kings are born. From woman, a woman is born; without a woman, there would be no man at all. How can a woman be called bad?
Sikhism was a religion ahead of its time. I love how it teaches women are equal. Women ARE equals to men. We need to stop seeing women as objects, but instead we need to see them as humans. All humans are equal.
Very well said. Women and men are equal. And that means women and men have equal opportunity and the right to do anything a man wants to do. Very well said brother.
My friend how can you say the divine mother. Everything is made of god. He has control of all the elemants. God is neither a he or a she. Guru Gobind Singh just did not bow down to Bhaguti. He bowed down to all weapons. "Aas kirpan kandho karag tupak tabir arh teer saif sarohi sai thee yehee hamare pir."
. Pure awareness is Shanti - static and unchanging. Shakti is dynamic energy that perpetually moves. It is the Divine Feminine that produces our universe and all the beings that occupy it. Guru Gobind Singh addressed the holy sword as Bhagauti because it embodies that infinite creative power.
Shakti is the all-pervading energy that is the source of everything . Shakti is Pritam Bhagauti, the divine mother, who gives birth to and nurtures all things. Although Shakti is beyond gender, we call It Mother because of its feminine qualities.
Speaking of misconceptions. Guruka Singh Bhaguti means a sword yes, but shakti does not mean femine in the Dasam Bani. Everytime Guru Gobind Singh uses bhaguti he is speaking metaphorically of god. Before you go around and start making big videos take some time to research.
This is the most beautiful religion!
