  • Where exactly did you find this car? All the signature marks seem to be there for a 1978-80 UC Holden Torana, except for the grille below the wipers. Even the trim around where the tail lights would be is a match. Could also be the US version of the Isuzu Gemini, but unsure as to what they really looked like in the 70s

  • @Mechknight73

could be a 4 cyl sunbird uc torana?

  • @squidgymop1 I think its more likely to a torana rather than gemini because of the overall size of the car

  • @squidgymop1 That's possible, but hard to tell for the lack of both an engine and any identifying badging

  • @squidgymop1 It's possible, but it's missing all the things that would help me identify it as such; badging, gearbox, or even the dash panel. Those three would tell me for sure, but thoerwise, the Torana and Sunbid from either the LX or UC models appear identical

  • Its a '72 or 73 Ford Maverick

  • @1968DodgePolara The 72 Maverick has a Ford badge where the number plate/fuel cap contraption would have been on this car

  • @wiltwallaby Look agin at others on the net it has all the indications it might have been replaced at one time without the badge.

  • @1968DodgePolara Problem is though if it was a Maverick or Torino there would be a recess in the lower bumper for the license plate, the car in the video doesn't seem to have that.

  • Maybe some 70s Holden...

  • I don't know the rear tail lights look wrong for Holden, could be an 80s Nissan though@SaveOldCars
