I think just using the sleeves of a shirt wouldn't be enough support for bigger breasts like mine, also I think judging on how small the cloth is and how much you show, this bikini could slip right off int he water, because the fabric is cloth and string once in water even if it sticks on to you for the first second the water will cause the cloth to slowly rip strand by strand but the process is rather fast. Pinning the bottom is difficult, and hand sewing it is quite time consuming, but effective enough. I found it helpful to take one of my old swimsuit bottoms to trace it to make sure it's the right size. Also, instead of just sewing the bottoms together, I sewed ties on. But overall the bottom isn't practical. It doesn't conform to my butt and just kinda sags in awkward places. So I probably won't end up wearing it, even though it's REALLY cute.
