  • hello, beautiful, what of the song is from 3:00? thanks!

  • @darques01 the song is "O Sanctissima" by Richard Proulx and the Cathedral Singers, from the CD "Catholic Latin Classics". God bless!

  • @MarysLittleFlower thanks very much!!!!

  • Our lady of lourdes pray for us, saint Bernadette pray for us.

  • The phrases move too QUICKLY to read!!! Slow it down!!!!

  • @JDNWF66 Sorry, I realized that too late :) I'll keep that in mind for the future. God bless

  • So beautiful, I cried. Thank you. She is my favorite female Saint.

  • They have recreated the grotto in Emmitsburg Maryland and it is beautiful

  • Thank you SO much for this video. I needed to find out what the miracle was for Religious Education and this really helped deepen my understanding. Thank you :)

  • @LottieHansis you're welcome! :) God bless

  • Thank you so much for this video! It is lovely.. and so touching of St Bernadette of Lourdes

  • I feel sorry for Bernadette because of her life after the visions! She felt useless, was angry about the way the grotto turned into a place to make money and she had to constantly be in hiding. She could have done so much more with her life if she would have trusted more in the Lord. She had too much fear and doubt. Mary told her "I can't promise you happiness in this world". But Bernadette took it as "You will not be happy in this world". That is why the Lord took her early to be with him

  • @KellyThundercloud I think that St Bernadette did do a lot with her life! she did a lot with her prayers and she offered her suffering to God to help souls.. I think she did more than if she had not lived as a religious. What she did wasn't as visible to the world but that doesn't mean it was any less real :) God bless

  • @MarysLittleFlower - I agree with your statement she did ALL she could under the

stressful circumstances.. for that she is blessed as a Saint and God gave her

refuge in his kingdom in Heaven.

  • I'll take that as a: "Nope. No missing limbs restored."

  • Any missing limbs restored yet? I didn't think so. Delusion.

  • @willbond

actually there have been many healings at Lourdes that were confirmed by doctors and scientists.

  • @willbond I have actually heard of people who had a leg shorter than the other, and while praying it grew to its correct length...and I've seen people getting healed and experienced it myself too, so this video isn't actually that surprising.

  • @Royza16 Ok, sooooooo NOPE, no missing limbs restored.

  • I used to think who is Mary?.. she is just the one who bore Jesus but over the year I learnt that she is a beautiful lady who ALSO helps us in times of trouble...

Although I am pentecostal I have beliefs that are of a catholic nature.

Thank you for this video it is wonderful I have to favourite it do u have any other videos or can you tell me more about Mary please x

  • its good because its gave me an idea what to do in my homework!

  • St. Bernadette pray for us sinners, I believe in you! I believe in Mary and in God!

  • I don`t know what to thin about Lourdes. I have my doubts. Why would god break his own laws for the benefit of some individuals ?

  • Do you mean miracles? the simple answer is that God loves us :) individuals are as special to Him as the entire human race. He looks at each person as if there's only one. God is the Creator and made the laws of nature, but what He is first, is Love. (as it says in Scripture). Mercy is His greatest attribute. For this, He would not only break His own laws, (of nature), but died on the Cross to save us. God bless

  • i am a catechumen and just started my journey in my church. i am curious what Virgin Mary said, that " I do not promise you happiness in this world..." i thought only God and Jesus can promise this. Should i be readint this statement literally?

  • Hi Mike,

congrats on your journey! :) that's so exciting and I hope RCIA goes well for you! I think with that statement - the Church teaches that our happiness is found in God. Mary is not promising a happiness apart from what He gives, as she only ever does His will. I think what she's saying is that St Bernadette would have to suffer while on earth and her life won't become perfectly happy and painless because she's had these apparitions. Hope that makes sense :) God bless!

  • Hi Marys...thanks for trying to explain, but i still dont understand. maybe i can ask my spirtual leader the next time i see him again. thanks again

  • Mike, I'm sorry my explanations wasn't very good... I hope you'll find a good one that will make sense :) what I'm trying to say is that the happiness that Mary promises is the same one that God promises, - she promises us God's happiness because she leads us closer to Him.

  • @MarysLittleFlower Hey Mary, i wanted to send an email to you but for some strange reason, i cant find the "Reply" button in my Youtube inbox...strange. Anyway, i didnt get to ask Father about the question, but i did one step better. i got myself baptised in the catholic church last night...it was a beautiful ceremony. Had my first Holy Communion too.

  • @mikelee8873 Mike, that is so wonderful! :) thanks for sharing that, God bless you!

  • Very nicely done. One fact you missed was that Lourdes also draws more pilgrimages than even 'Mecca' each year. I have been to lourdes. It is beautiful!

  • Absolutely beautiful! Thank you! Thank you for making such a beautiful prayer. I am so Blessed by watching.
