I was 10 or 11 when Hybrid Theory came out. and I waited impatiently for meteora to come out, which though not as good as hybrid theory, was still an addictive album. LP is far from one of my favorite bands, but their old stuff is good. lyrically and instrumentally, LP has never been remarkable, but at least their older music, especially on hybrid theory, had some raw muscle behind it. now like Kings of Leon, who also once had a somewhat original sound, LP wants to be an arena rock band
Linkin Park may not have "sold out" but their new music is LAME CRAP. sure, Hybrid Theory wasn't revolutionary, it came out in the Nu Metal wave of music in the late 90s/early 2000s, it had a polished sound and some derivative lyrics. Still, it rocked hard, felt fresh, was memorable, songs like Forgotten, Papercut, With You are all awesome. I grew up listening to albums like mellon collie and the infinite sadness by smashing pumpkins and hybrid theory still impressed me.
Oh, and I've gotta say that Mike looks fkn hot in this video. *-* I love his old style. :D Of course, he also does look awesome now. ;) Mike Shinoda IS just awesome.! :D

I saw them live multiple times best times of my life best concerts I've ever gone too. My favorite songs of all time come from Linkin Park and even though I'm not huge into there new stuff I will always support the band and buy the cd give it a try. ATS is not bad but I'm still hooked on there old stuff.

You're making no sense. Here they were in their freaking 20's. I wouldn't expect men who are now in their mid 30's to still be jumping up and down in track suits talking about teenage issues and being angry at everything. Their music is now mature and it's still awesome since I first heard it. (Breaking The Habit) I believe was the song that made me become obsessed with them.

I think you're not getting what I'm saying. I like their old school way better cause it's the original them. Meteora is my favorite album of all time and it really suits my mood when I'm in a bad mood or just have a lot of energy. ATS is their calmer side and when I first heard "Waiting For The End" I turned it off after 10 seconds, but grew to later understand why they did it.

I saw them live multiple times best times of my life best concerts I've ever gone too. My favorite songs of all time come from Linkin Park and even though I'm not huge into there new stuff I will always support the band and buy the cd give it a try. ATS is not bad but I'm still hooked on there old stuff.

Theres no good songs on it, all sounds like 80's pop music, its fucking terrible, theres like 9000 filler songs, it ISNT Linkin Park, it ISNT a masterpiece. Ive been a LP fan since 2000 and i can tell this album is garbage. If you like it, no problem with that. The thing is im old enough to not be an extreme fanboy and actually judge the album right.

But now I really love this album and I'm looking forward to the concert I'm going to in June and yeah.. I just love what the guys of LP do now and I also love what they've done years ago. I wouldn't expect men who are now in their mid 30's to still be jumping up and down in track suits talking about teenage issues and being angry at everything. Their music is now mature and it's still awesome since I first heard it. (Breaking The Habit) I believe was the song that made me become obsessed with them.
ATS is still awesome IMO, but don't diss this awesome band.

I think you're not getting what I'm saying. I like their old school way better cause it's the original them. Meteora is my favorite album of all time and it really suits my mood when I'm in a bad mood or just have a lot of energy. ATS is their calmer side and when I first heard "Waiting For The End" I turned it off after 10 seconds, but grew to later understand why they did it.
For you as a "fan" to say they suck is to spit on their faces for the music they made for you.

Ugh! Your comment annoys me. You're not even an authentic LP fan. They have cussed before in songs, eg. Given Up, High Voltage and even Step Up. So shut up with that. So what if they're at their 30's?
