good job dude... better tuned gtr and this would have kick serious shit :P if you wanna check out my vocal vid of this song check out my channel!! thx! ^^
you can def play, and have talent but the thing that i noticed b4 i even watched the vid is you said it was in standard tuning...im about to learn this song and the best way is by ear, which i do but trying to get note for note i noticed somethin was odd, so i decided to do a quick check if there was any lessons or covers(which there always are..), and what ive found so far is that this song is played originally in a wierd tuning-6=F, 5=A#, 4=C#, 3=F#, 2=A#, 1=D# 1st 4 1/2 step down, last 2 1/2up
@LegendofDimeBag - Thanks man : ) Yes I guess the song is supposed to be playing in that tuning you mentioned, but since my guitars have the floyd rose trems it's not worth it to me to set it up for just that one song, so I figured it out in standard tuning. Rock on my friend !
@aboveunow the Mills is a great cab.. It has been able to handle any amp I used it with.. The tone is pure and clear & handles bottom end like you wouldn't believe. Also the eq on any amp is more responsive with that cab than other cabs I have used.. Its great for any music genre and If you don't mind the size and weight of the cabs I can't recommend them enough.. Quality is great as well as is the customer service there. Dave Mills is a great guy..
@fickle20 Thanks much for the reply, and insight into the Mills Cabs bro. I love your Vel to man, love that neck! I gotta put up some worthy vids of my janky practice rig lol. It will suprise alot of people. Peace
@aboveunow Thanks man, the necks on those charvels are great, I love that raw smooth maple feel.. Also the size is perfect, not to thin or fat.. A buddy of mine said it feels just like his old original 1982 san dimas charvel. Rock on man !
Very cool! Love the tone, playing, and the guitar. Looks much better than the pictures I've seen - very vintage Charvel looking with the zebras and creme pickup rings.
What did you have your Splawn Marshall set to? OD1 or 2?
I have never played a quickrod but used to have one of the first Pro Mods made. This amp is just like one of those. It was modded with an effects loop, KT88 tubes , Mercury Magnetic Tranny, OD1 & 2 , solo boost, and clean channel . No gears.
I enjoyed listening to you play brother, this is a killer song. As are most of Ozzy's classics.
