Beautiful! I'm a great fan of Hayley but was only aware of this when I read the Classic FM Hall of Fame magazine (june 2011) which places this at No.300. It is described as a "haunting vocal classic from New Zealand singing sensation Hayley Westenra".

I checked up on "O Quanta Qualia" written by Peter Abelard (1070-1142) It is a vesper (evening prayer) whoet title translates to "Oh How Great and Glorious are the Sabbaths." Vespers usually include prayer that asks for"God's protection through the night and yearning to be in the presence of God and His Glory" which seems to fit the translation of this version (hawes/westenra) as well as "mikesaveg"'s excellent interp.of this. Beautiful song;I listen to it as an evening prayer/meditation.

outstanding vocal range....her voice didn't go off the pitch although some notes are extremely high that most singer couldn't reach. Just feel calm and relaxing while listening her songs. undescribable PURE . Thanks for sharing~~
