  • parabens brother tinha mo duvida de ocmo usar o ES1 agora ficou facil

    valeu

  • passei a usar ES1 em vez de EFM, valeu pela dica.

  • hi there.

nice tut, but ES1 sucks for basslines in my opinnion. i wasted days tryin to bring out a nice sounding bassline without any interfferences but ES1 has always some kind of "plastic" touch that sounds awful :\

  • @landexx I have got some pretty nice basses from ES1 ive never used it in a track but I wouldnt say it sucks.

  • @landexx What would you reccomend? i agree about the plastic touch but there are a few things i've gotten from ES1 would ES2 be better? if so how would you go about that? (i'm new to logic)

  • @nachoisone : I'd recommend spectrasonics trilian, or lennar digital sylenth 1. sylenth1 is my favorite for plucky SAW Basslines now. Reset Pattern, Pick Sawtooth at the first oscillator, apply the filter and let it's cutoff be modulated by either velocity or a LFO. Also slightly apply phasing and chorus to get a special kind of nice and full sounding bass.

  • @landexx right on thanks man :D

  • @nachoisone: Never mind, i always try to help. You should also Bounce the Channel with the Bassline on as soon as your line of notes is ready for the Song. Then apply some EQ (notch at ~ 125, 250, 500 Hz) and try to minimize resonating frequencies. From 5 - 15 KHz you probably gain it up a little bit. Also apply side-chain compressing for kick/bass for pumping effect and to get the kick as hard as possible. There are severel good tutorials @ youtube.
