@PhoenixBaller13 Haha that I know baller but I was referring to that 5 sec stretch right before Sucker Mc's start it has the horn sound in it? Appreciate any input thx!
i would of loved this dude for a neighbor! hahha getting ripped while upstairs raida just fuckin rockin it all fuckin day. doesnt feel like hes gone...his sound was so fuckin fresh and original that it stays highly relevant to this day. we miss ya grandmasta! see you at the battles in the heavens yo! RIP!
and yo! maxpounder! (lol)...THANKS FOR THE UPLOAD! we all fuckin appreciate it bro! peace!
@MrMaxPounder You said " and yes i am the fuckin man...." LOL Fuk! I could tell dat by reading your comments my man....dats cool!
Ive asked you several questions and it sounds like I struck a nerve with this raida topic. I just wasn't sure how he'd stack up to the current beat jugglers but my sentiments are the same!
This set don't do him justice. I seen others where he was lightening quick witch his juggling
the best body trick dj of all time no one practiced harder than raida he set new staandards for turntablists and to this day only a few in the world can emulate/replicate his routines fluently but no one will ever match him on a trick tip in my educated hip hop opinion
fuckiin total lolz!!!! i remember watching Raida practicing for shows and he was just awesome in putting things together...just knowing him on a personal level was just dope...i will miss you big bro...
He was truly amazing, really, for people who dont know, he was like Jimi Hendrix on the decks, a genius. His absence will be noticed and his life remembered. Sleep in serenity.
this is a major blow to all of hip-hop. watching footage of roc and the rest of the executioners was one of the reasons I saved up every penny i had when I was 12 so I could go to canal street and buy a set of tables and a mixer. His skills and style will never be matched
I've literally just heard about Raida passing, and I'm really shocked. I've been a fan of scratching for over 25 years, but I didn't start buying DMC vids until '95, when Raida won the World Title. So, as he was the first guy I ever saw winning the title, I've always had a soft spot for him. He was a legend of beat-juggling and of Body-tricks (he was still the best in the world at body tricks, when he died, even though he was pushing 40). R.I.P. to the Grandmaster and my original Battle DJ Hero.
This hurts bad. There was no better era for innovative DJ'in than when Roc was comin' up. This cat, along with the X-men, created and influenced so many styles of cuttin' and jugglin'. This is just a major blow.
I think the opposite... Raida started off strong but faltered with "Dropping Science" a little. The "Get Down" was dope and fast but a sort of sloppy. You have to admit that Noize BRUNG IT with his entire routine... it was perfectly crafted and was like a story. You can listen to ONLY the audio of his set and think someone multi-tracked it. The year before... Raida's USA finals routine with "I Got to Have iT", was my favorite. He messed it up in the Worlds but he still won the title.
wow you had to be that dude that brings up Roc losing a DMC when everyone else is watching this video and paying some respect to the man for all hes done for DJs. thanks guy.
I gave props to Roc for being dope u sensitive clown (ftown631). I made those comments BEFORE Roc passed away anyways and was telling the truth about Noize's unbeatable routine that year. Noize's routine couldn't be denied. RIP Roc Raida (one of the best DJs of all time).
Peep the love between Rob and Raida. He is taking notes, moving the records. Those dudes loved each other man.

DJ Noise came across clean and in the end victorious.
