I think Tiffani's insecurity showed through her aggressive behavior on Top Chef...but that is how a lot of Chef's behave. I think she got slammed more than enough for all the snarky things she did and said on the show. She's paid for it. At the end of the day she is an outstanding Chef. I'm glad to see she's continuing to follow her passion

Tiffani was always saying nice things about her competitors! Her passion for cooking came through equally in her own competitiveness and in her recognition of the talents and achievements of her fellow chefs!!! Harold's snapper, Dave's enchiladas, Lee Ann's overall talent, Miguel's duo of beef, Dave's flavors, Harold's knife skills. The list goes on where she was the 1st & most articulate in praising the others. W/ Tom's consensus it appears we are in good company to like her!!!

Tiffani is awesome. She's talented, classy and smart. I don't know what show you saw, but I saw the one where she was frequently the first to compliment her cheftestant colleagues on their food, technique and skill, where her depth of knowledge and passion came through clearly in her words, and her work ethic and her dishes which were consistently among the best. What is not to love about that? So don't diss!

tom obviously loves her food, too. he brings it up all the time in subsequent seasons and appearances.

True that. I actually loved that dynamic of mutual respect and admiration that existed between Chef Colicchio and Tiffani, and you're right; he has continued to mention some of her dishes in later seasons and rightfully so. I never bought the whole TF as villain deal and Tom is too smart and too much of a visionary in his own right to be swayed by any bs/hype. I thought she was cool.
