I think it's for the best that they won't include a Joker. While I have no doubt that all of us would love to see more of Heath Ledger's Joker, there is just one slight problem:
He's dead.

I agree with so many of others on here too. The Joker was not in all of the Batman movies, there are so many other amazing villains who need a chance to shine. I love the Joker and I know he's the main, but he's not the only one in Gotham.

The thing is, the last role of Heath Ledger as the Joker was probably the best one he ever did, and not because the other roles he played sucked. The performing of Ledger in this movie is just plain awesome great! I really like Jack Nicholson and the part he did as the Joker, but Ledger was better.

Did you forget that Heath Ledger DIED?! If they tried to replace him it wouldn't be right, nobody could top that performance and, even if they did, it seems insulting because it'd have the feel of sweeping Heath's death under the carpet and trying to make us accept a different actor.
The only way we'll have a new Joker will be when another Batman franchise is made. But I'm happy with these movies thanks very much.
