@marioromanmrp Not at all man, 0-200 km/h in 21 sec its kind of slow for a bi turbo v12 with 500 hp, I have an S500 4matic (388 hp) and it goes to 200 in 20 sec and it doesn't have any turbos and its a V8 with much less torque than that Q7.

AUDI does, the Q7 V12 TDI is for all intents and purposes the RS version of the normal Q7 - bar the diesel instead of a gasoline and thereby no RS label. Comes with some nice standard and optional features unavailable to the standard Q7, as well as a slightly different front.

Pretty much yeah. After the amazing success at Le Mans they wanted the engine on the road, and I guess the Q7 was the easiest car to shoehorn it into. Engines now offered in the R8 as well, here at least.

Its quite an interesting car tho, far better MPG and CO2/km levels than any comparable gasolineSUV and even slightly better than the 4.2 TDI - if youre not a leadfoot anyway ;)

I think its a nice autobahn cruiser with some extra punch for the highspeed overtakings (160km/h++).

It is rather Audi's step to show and demonstrate that Diesel engines can also be desirable and can outrun similar gasoline engines, using less fuel.

Audi does. But you have to understand that Audi doesn't mean for this car to be sold much.

It's just to be able to say.. we've got the strongest diesel SUV. Compared to the normal Q7 versions not many are sold.

And with a pricetag of 180.000 euros ($242.712 by todays exchange value) in the Netherlands due to very strict environmental taxes that's quite understandable.

And to be honest most people wouldn't want a car that does only 6,6 kilometers on 1 liter of diesel :P.
