Earlier this week I was at a little visitors center outside a huge statue and found someones cellphone in the field a few yards from the statue. I remembered seeing some people out there when I rode in so I hoofed it over to the center to see if they were still there. Sure enough it was the girls phone. Felt a little better for the rest of the day.
I had a chance this past weekend to do a good deed. Pulled a broken dune buggy 15 miles back to a guys truck. He and his son were stuck when their drive shaft broke. Made me feel really good :) Nice to see there are some decent human beings left in this world.
I try to perform random acts of kindness whenever I can. It makes you feel good that you have been able to help someone out no matter how small the favor/help may be.
I remember that BBQ joint! We could TOTALLY hear Tracy from our table in the room around the corner, LOL!!!! Random acts of kindness are everywhere. It's always humbling to be a recipient of such shows of generosity...Glad to see ya out riding, Matt!
It does give me some hope for humanity.
