@wreghn Not really. I've never seen a really good match with John Cena. Maybe matches against Randy Orton and the match with CM Punk, not many more. I also heard from many people that WM27 was saved by Undertaker vs HHH. I'm not saying Cena is bad. He's great. The top guys you listed are true, and Undertaker has had feuds with all those guys, putting him in the same caliber as them. Besides, Cena is bad with the crowd. He never has a whole arena cheer him or boo him. He always has both.

John Cena has had three great matches at Wrestlemania alone: WM 22 Triple H, WM 23 Shawn Michaels, and WM 26 Batista. He had a great TLC match with Edge (a match Cena had no experience in) a great match at ONS with RVD, and I could go on.
Many people think Taker/HHH saved Wrestlemania? I'm sure that many and more think The Rock saved 'Mania.

When Rock and Austin was there we had, a healthy Undertaker, HHH, Kane, DX, Chyna, Trish, The Holly's, Edge and Christian, Booker T, Goldust and tons of other INTERESTING characters that call carried the business in some form. Now it's really just Cena and Orton. Everyone else is about the same. Yeah I'm a huge Miz, Christian, Dolph, R-Truth and Sheamus fan but they don't push them correctly at all. It was not Cena that carried so many years the company. It was the company's machine that created Cena and presented him to the fans as the guy who can carry a company on his shoulders by himself. Actually Ryder & Truth would be a good program. Herro, you said he has too much steam so why not rub that steam off on Ryder. That whole tantrum Truth had about merchandising and said how even Ryder had a t-shirt, why not make him believe that Ryder is part of the conspiracy. It would build Ryder's relevance but they need to finish the Truth/Morrison angle. Maybe Truth and Morrison at SummerSlam, they can involve Zack's dad, who's Morrison obsessed, in the match and start the angle from there

That would give the storyline time to develop more, leading up to Punk getting help from The Rock for a huge double turn. Punk=Face. They should have Had Punk's music play and shown images of Punk beating Cena on the Screen, but not have him come out. That would have gained intrigue and would have set it up for something huge is about to come. zack ryder got an excellent reaction from the crowd for a guy who has literally had one other raw match in the past year, he has got over from a 5 minute webisode which also focuses on other people like his dad and the big o, it took cena, rock and austin longer than an hour (roughly combined time of Z! eps) to get over.
in my opinion they've ruined the angle they should of had punk not competing for about 3 months but occasionally have him pop up in the front row or appear at indy events and criticise the wwe, crash wwe events and appearences etc, it was so real and they've blown it, in my opinion

WOW, no comment by the crew about the interaction between HHH & R-Truth. I thought that shit was funny as hell. I want to also remind people that Cena gets hella hate much like HHH got for a while for always having the belt. He'd lose it briefly but then he'd get it back. Some didn't like it with Trips and some don't like it with Cena. I think Cena needs to put more people over and needs to let go of the belt for a long time. He really doesn't need it... If he did that then he'd get some love.

Many people hated Trips because he was a dynasty unto himself and Cena has garnered the same type of heat because he is a dynasty unto himself just like Punk said. The reason the crowd didn't pop for Ryder's entrance is because they didnt realize who it was at first, particularly the casual fans.. nobodys heard his intro song on TV in forever, and he needs a new song anyway. The crowd did start chanting "lets go ryder" pretty shortly into the match though so thats promising, They just need to let him do a few minutes of skits from his show on live TV and he'll get over immediately.

Mass appeal is good, but to have that polarizing effect makes a wrestler more interesting. I think that maybe the reason Cena has been pushed even with boos. I think having a Team Cena VS a Team CM Punk is great. It really gets the fans into it. I hate it when the WWE try to decided things for the fans. That would have gained intrigue and would have set it up for something huge is about to come. zack ryder got an excellent reaction from the crowd for a guy who has literally had one other raw match in the past year, he has got over from a 5 minute webisode which also focuses on other people like his dad and the big o, it took cena, rock and austin longer than an hour (roughly combined time of Z! eps) to get over.

If what Herro believes is true and E is backing ROH then it would make sense for them to educate the fans about it.

I want to also remind people that Cena gets hella hate much like HHH got for a while for always having the belt. He'd lose it briefly but then he'd get it back. Many people hated Trips because he was a dynasty unto himself and Cena has garnered the same type of heat because he is a dynasty unto himself just like Punk said. I don't think heel or face matters as the pop one receives from the crowd. If Cena stayed face but did more (or less) he might be more bearable to watch. If he and Punk reversed rolls that would be magic but Cena might not go with it knowing it would put Punk over majorly.

The reason the crowd didn't pop for Ryder's entrance is because they didnt realize who it was at first, particularly the casual fans.. nobodys heard his intro song on TV in forever, and he needs a new song anyway. The crowd did start chanting "lets go ryder" pretty shortly into the match though so thats promising, They just need to let him do a few minutes of skits from his show on live TV and he'll get over immediately.

Mass appeal is good, but to have that polarizing effect makes a wrestler more interesting. I think that maybe the reason Cena has been pushed even with boos. I think having a Team Cena VS a Team CM Punk is great. It really gets the fans into it. I hate it when the WWE try to decided things for the fans.
