Technically the current WWE World Heavyweight Title is same as the old WCW belt. The World Heavyweight title is extremely similair to the design of the Big WCW gold. but that belt is certainly not the same as the WCW title nor does it share the same lineage. So in short Big Gold is NOT the OG WCW belt but before it was changed the ECW title was the same all the way through.

Worked out for both men Hogan changed into a monster heel gaining even more popularity and Sting reinvented himself as well gaining far more fans than he could have dreamed of having people who never watched him wrestle because they never saw WCW became fans of him it was great for everyone involved

This is a show on Canada's number 1 Sports network and he has a certain amount of time before the commercial break to get as much out of the interview he can I'm sure if you were the host you would be fired at the most after the first year if you just stick to one topic the entire show.

After TNA goes out of business (in about 2 months), Hogan will be back to kissing McMahon's butt as he should be. Hogan is just working the Carter money marks for some cash and he knows TNA will never be any thing. McMahon made Hogan period and Hogan does not like to admit it, but he knows it is true. Never take a word Hogan says seriously and I try to just ignore Hogan since Hogan is not worth worrying about.

Hogan re-tells certain parts of history falsely. He was not popular when he turned heel, and he watered down the NWO on his own, which led to subsquent watering-down over time.
Vince Russo isn't the reason behind WCW's demise; Hogan and his backstage politics are by far the main reason, not that I'm defending Russo the person or any sacrilegious idea he concocted.

Oh, okay. I guess that counts, but it's like claiming Big Show is the only guy to win ECW, WCW, and WWE championships. Vince just re-invented the belt and used it on one of his shows. Technically the current WWE World Heavyweight Title is same as the old WCW belt. It was introduced by Bischoff about the time they started the brand split, and he implied that it was the old WCW belt before awarding it to Triple H.

You are technically incorrect. WWE OWNS ECW and thusly reinjected the old ECW belt to go with the old ECW brand. For true die-hards there are orginal Eastern Championship wrestling champs and then of course the OG ECW title holders. THere is a difference between the WWE relaunched ECW but it is the SAME TITLE. However, during the invasion angle the big gold was the WWE owned WCW title. HOWEVER, the current Big Gold World Heavyweight Champ is NOT the same lineage as the WCW belt.

The lineage of the WCW title, starts with the official ending of the NWA all the way through the Ending of the alliance angle with WWE. The World Heavyweight title is extremely similair to the design of the Big WCW gold. but that belt is certainly not the same as the WCW title nor does it share the same lineage. So in short Big Gold is NOT the OG WCW belt but before it was changed the ECW title was the same all the way through.

Did you watch the video? The belt Bischoff gave HHH, which is the very same one that the Undertaker currently holds, is the one "many great champions before" Triple H has held. Bischoff also said it was the same belt that Triple H held months before - the WCW belt. WWE revises their history and ignores the FACT that BIschoff introduced the belt as having the history of the WCW belt. They claim Triple H is the first to hold it, which is not true.

OK, so Bischoff introduces the belt as the WCW belt but it's not the same? How so? WWE's site lists Triple H as the first champion in this line, and that the date awarded was the same night as the Bischoff-Triple H promo in the video I referred to. This very promo and awarding of the belt was recorded on TV and clearly says that the history of the belt goes back a long ways - to WCW and the NWA. Wrestlmania 18 = 18 Mar 2002, Bischoff promo = 2 Sep 2002.

Fans cheer for hogan purely because of his gimmick and what he was in the 80s... u cant honestly tell me as a wrestling fan that u take this 50 year old hogan character seriously... michaels lost to angle and was cheered for it, hogan would have got that reaction win lose or draw, just like he did with the rock.
