  • why am i watching this i can speak dutch becuase i am dutch

  • @TheJcnable Whahaha then I hope indeed that you didn't actually learn anything from this video.. except maybe that my accent is weird. :P

  • some of these words dont mean anything

  • Your pronunciations are off with the word "goede". You make it sound more German. Nice vid, and well produced. Alles de betste!

  • @acbluestone thanks for your comment. Thanks for the tip. I see that I uploaded this a year ago and I've actually been learning for almost 2 years. I really hope my pronunciation is better by now. :-) Granted anything Dutch that comes out of my mouth is always going to sound weird since I have the most aweful English accent. ^_^

  • You made a mistake.

    Tot ziens doesn't mean Goodbye.

Tot ziens refers to See you soon. You could better use words like 'Prettige dag verder' and 'Goedendag'

  • @AirlineAviation Thanks for your comment. Yes this video was made a long time ago and as with the other Dutch videos I have online they all have atleast one mistake in them. However, I know the difference. But thanks for pointing it out. Hopefully others will read the comments and see yours. It will help them then to learn the correct translation.

  • Haha! Dat liedje!!

  • @pinkloveuh Bedankt voor je reactie. Nick en Simon <3

  • thanks for this...im trying to learn dutch on my own

  • @hauntingbeauty thanks for your comment. you're welcome. a lot of people find it really difficult to learn it alone. let me know if there's anything I can help with.

  • boso ne wong londo iki ?

  • can you mail me the name of that music? eid_monovoxx@yahoo.com.br ;)

  • I was born in amsterdam

and i dont know dutch lmao

  • @xxposzaxx lmao. Ok. Explain to me how you were born in Amsterdam and don't know any Dutch? Did you not stay there?

  • @ACCESS2B

LOL yeh i went to england for a holiday when i was 1 and the rest of my family , and becuase i have more family in england then i do in holland we decided to stay in england :D but im learning, thanks to your vids :D

  • @xxposzaxx Well that makes a lot of sense. However, it's good to know that you're learning and I'm glad that my videos are helping you. Much Success.

  • sorry I can't help it but I start to laugh at the english accent

I am dutch so when I speak english I also sound very weird XD

  • @deathroman13 But the difference is, when you speak English you can be understood.. when I speak Dutch it usually takes 2 or 3 attempts at saying certain words before they're understandable xD .. It's ok you're allowed to laugh. There are many English people who laugh at other's accents and pronounciation to. There'd be no point in learning if it wasn't fun while doing it. :-)

  • @deathroman13 P.S Thnx for your comment!

~Proud to be weird. It means that I'm normal~

  • @ACCESS2B yeah :D

    the same for me :)

  • 1000 times more slowly will be efficient

  • @koshechan You are the second person to tell me I talk too fast. 8-) The other person is a Dutch native. Hmzz. Thnx for the comment.

  • needs audio productions of lots of dutch words translated said and rec back to back fast no spaces after listening to so much neder hop its just about putting a face to the framiliar sounds from all the dope nederhop ,,as soon as get time ik will make lots of thizz type productions on new tech house muse stick ,,dankuwell !!,,

  • @teamhuman2 Not quite sure I understand. But if I can help with something. Feel free to ask. Thanks for the comment.

  • Hoi! Gezellig! :-)

  • Great job on the g's and the ou's!!!!

My ex is an American, lived here for 5 years and never got as close as you did already even though he was hell-bent on learning the language.

  • @maudkramer Ow thanks very much. The G's is supposed to be the most difficult thing for an English person to accoumplish but I don't find it so hard as long as I remember not to try talking too fast. I really enjoy learning it. but at my own pace. I feel a person doesn't do so well if they try to rush it. I would however like more speaking practice. I only get that opportunity once a week! Thanks for your compliment and comment!

  • @ACCESS2B ; You're quite welcome! As long as you don't hit your gag-reflex on the g's you're alright for the most part, I suppose! LOL... ;-)

If you need any help on silly proverbs or anything, just let me know! (mind you, it's not like I could explain all of them logically!)

  • @maudkramer Haven't coughed up any hairballs lately, so I think my Gag-Reflex is in good shape. Although if you ask me to say "Graag Gedaan" several times in a row, you might see a hairball or two. lol. Thanks for the help offer. Havn't really looked at proverbs and sayings in great detail. But, like some other things in Dutch, I am sure there's not always a logical English explanation. Will leave you a PM with my messenger addresses in it then you can feel free to add if you wish. Groetjes.

  • What's the name of this song? nice ..Thank you^^

  • @ningvan The song is called De Soldaat. By Nick en Simon. Thanks for your comment.

  • it depends on what part of holland as they have different dialects on it my family says good morning huia dah

  • @panzerlord148 Huia Dah looks more Welsh than Dutch. lol But I am aware of different dialects. I have seen and heard Dialect used in parts of Friesland. Noord Brabant, and also Vlaams. Most of what I study is ABN (Algemeen Beschaafd Nederlands/General Civilized Dutch) But since my friend has great enjoyment in confusing me with his own dialect, My teacher usually helps me understand when dialect is being used.

  • @ACCESS2B well my friend from belgium can understand it so it means something plus i have no idea how to spell it but huia means good dah means day hiua moha is good morning

  • Good job! Your 'G' is very dutch!:) Good luck with Dutch! If you ever want to ask something, feel free.

  • @Nashwangirl Very sweet of you. Thank you. :-D

  • I think that Dutch easier is.

  • @Miniuum. Thanks for the comment. I have fun learning. So it is not that difficult.

  • OK Chinese is much easier than than dutch

  • I've never tried to learn chinese. Not sure if I'd be able to write it. but I would be willing to learn to speak. lol But many people find Dutch difficult as the sentence structure is often "Reversed" and the pronounciation of certain letters can be difficult to master. Thanks for the comment.
