@dslynx You don't understand how newer android works then. It holds the programs in memory but they are not running. This is like sleep mode on your computer, everything is there but the computer is in an extremely low power state. This lets you launch common apps more quickly. Whether android manages this efficiently or not is another argument, thus you may or may not need a task manager anymore. But stopping some apps actually forces them to reload and is worse for your phone. So idk..

If you use adw launcher ex and you want to change transitions and all that jazz, long press your home screen screen and find adwsettings, put that on your homescreen and click it. From there you can configure it all!

Launchers kill battery by a lot. With TouchWith I have 24 hours on my Galaxy S 4G. With launcher pro I had around 10 hours. May be its just me

advanced task killer is only good advice for people running android 2.1 or prior versions. it will hinder performance on phones running 2.2 and beyond. most android devices are currently beyond 2.1

I am assuming that what makes a phone faster is reduced RAM usage? I am wondering, for example, how much RAM does LauncherPro and Advanced task killer use. Does running launcher pro replace the stock "launcher" that comes with a phone? Also, does advanced task killer run all the time, or only when you activate it? Also, you simply killed all running apps. Aren't some of those apps essential? I have a bunch of apps for example that run and I do not know if I can just kill them. Thanks. Good video

You shouldnt be killing apps using task killers.. Because it will kill all the core apps that is need to run the phone.. Killing them all will force them to restart thus making the phone slower.. Try watchdog task manager or just use the the stock task manager..

Hey, just want to tell you, advanced task killer actually can mess your phone up, so don't use it! And also you might feel that your phone is faster after killing all the apps but most of the apps just come back in like a minute so it's useless.
