UM likes to say that OSU, not MSU, is their "biggest rival" in football (although after back-to-back MSU wins, we seem to be hearing a bit less of that). Well in basketball, quite frankly, I don't think UM is even our THIRD-biggest rival at this point. I'd say Wisconsin is clearly our biggest rival followed by Illinois and OSU (with either one being 2 or 3 at any given point). UM ranks fourth in what is now a VERY one-sided rivalry in which MSU is more or less expected to win every contest.

UM likes to say that OSU, not MSU, is their "biggest rival" in football (although after back-to-back MSU wins, we seem to be hearing a bit less of that). Well in basketball, quite frankly, I don't think UM is even our THIRD-biggest rival at this point. I'd say Wisconsin is clearly our biggest rival followed by Illinois and OSU (with either one being 2 or 3 at any given point). UM ranks fourth in what is now a VERY one-sided rivalry in which MSU is more or less expected to win every contest.

izzo is one of the top 5 coaches in the ncaa, every 4-year starter has gotten to the final four since he began his coaching career. kalin lucas is now the best pg in the nation. travis walton should've won the national defensive player of the year, all thabeet does is block shots. walton is a lockdown defender. and a couple of things EvaT051 this is a basketball video and at least msu made it to a january bowl game unlike michigan who went 3-9 and didn't get to a bowl game.
