@LDSapologist71 Amen to that! I'm a BoM archeology enthusiast myself who has read many sources and I can tell you Dr. Gardner seems to know his stuff very well. Thank you fairlds for posting these vids!
it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me whosoever who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
I find this all very fascinating - from a psychological & anthropological POV. All Mormons apology is the same - reams of verbiage, smoke & mirrors, misdirection, demolishing of straw-man arguments. And they can go on for hours. What is most interesting are the speaker's opening remarks. He needs to think more carefully about his own argument. It is very telling.
Paraphrase: Not all Olmec people were Jaredite, and not all Mayans were Lehi desendants, but they participated in those cultures.
I believe the people of the Book Of Mormon could have coexisted with many different groups of people of different origins. There are evidences of people coming to the Americas across the Bering Strait in the ice age, and also of viking influence later... But, those evidences do not prove that the BOM is false, since all of these people could have coexisted.
What is the conclusion? Is North east America or central America the Book of Mormon lands?

The Olmec culture seems to fit in nicely with the Jaredites.
