This song brings tears to my eyes. The sheer lyrics about the God of Jewish and Christian believers. And the melody. All coming together with the outstanding voice reach of Yaakov and this child taking over a part of the song. Marvelous.
What a beautiful song, I listen over and over, it makes me cry. In a way it's a picture of what happened to the people of Yisrael being scattered into the earth so long ago, and now the Shepherd is regathering them from the four corners of the earth.! Yehezqel 34:5-6, 11-16.
Please, can someone post this song by Yaakov Shwekey sung in Hebrew? There is a version I have seen on here before, but I cannot find it. Both are beautiful...
ok good i got this link, just telling u that this story happened with rabbi lezar silver, he was a chaplain in the army and he went to a monastery after the war. he went with a diff rabbi, i think one from london
@DavidBenIsrael1 Shalom! I have shared your video tonight with my friends on Facebook, my way of remembering this night (9.nov) of 1938. "When you eat and have enough to eat, take care so you don´t forget G-d." "..he let you know that we don´t live by bread alone, but that we live of each word that is spoken of G-d"

Shameful, wrong Christianity brought bitterness to the jewish people understandably, bringing them further of their MaShiah Yeshua. Sad!

At 1:27, why did you spell G-d instead of God?
salcuta88 1 year ago
@salcuta88 You´re Question was :At 1:27, why did you spell G-d instead of God?
It´s a Jewish Thing, But. of course I could spell it God or GOD, all that matters is to keep in mind that HIS name is Holy.

@DavidBenIsrael1 That's a good way to say it.

@DavidBenIsrael1 A Jewish thing? Ok. Thanks.

Jews only say g-d's name when we pray,... any other time we say Hashem meaning "his name"
