did anyone realise most of the protoss wins were because of ff, thats how broken it is

@FishTurd69 most of the wins in a plays of the week compilation, because they require skill to use effectively, just like the infestors and all spellcasters

@iliketha ff is a pretty easy spell...spamable, effects all but massive, and zerg dont have mass till very late and thor and colo always at back cos of range...also goes for 15 seconds which is freaking ages, fg is only 4 storm is less.

@FishTurd69 i disagree that it's easy to use effectively, that's why great ff play makes it on to lists like this, i know you don't main protoss because, it's really not spamable - to even maintain one ff indefinitely e.g. on a ramp you need 5 sentries. yes zerg have to wait 'til ultras to break em, but they can just use tunneling claws with roaches to nullify them. fg is not a comparable spell and imho it's probably the most powerful spell in the game

@iliketha i dont main protoss but i've played b4 and i've used sentry b4 and to me, its pretty easy, i dunno wats it like at the pro lvl course, but i find it ridiculously easy. no i think its 3 to have endless ff on ramp, roaches can only unburrow from open ground, just ff where the raoches are going, saw it in a pro game b4, oraches couldnt unburrow at all...fg takes up way for energy and is 11 seconds shorter...

@FishTurd69 i just looked it up on liquipedia and it's actually 6 sentries needed to have endless ff. Either way i agree they are powerful, but i wouldn't say OP, as protoss was designed around them, they are necessary, so w/o them, the early protoss army would be UP. I know fungal lasts less time, but it's a totally different spell, although imo much more versatile and powerful, i mean you can't kill mass infantry or even mass stacked void rays with a few ff but you can with chain fungal!

@iliketha i think its ridiculous that protoss can forcefully make the terran into their advantage anytime anywhew. chain fungal only works if u have 1234956735939763 infestors and a constant apm of 1984512794516945, unlike ff where u need a spike for a split second
