  • i sneezed... what does that mean?

  • ok, no clue what just happened

  • actually it's 5-9hz and u cannot hear that sound. because u can only hear to 20hz everything under that will just give a vibration that will well, do the funny thing in yr pants.

  • it only works on a vast minority (people with weak bowls) because the frequency of the note is the same of the colon in your stomach, causing a weak bowl to excrete or in other words: shite your pants!

  • I farted...

  • It's an urban legend that a frequency of 10Hz will cause you to shit yourself. Ben Folds was doing it as a prank with the group "improv everywhere"

Search improv everywhere ben folds fake, that explains it all. First night's idea was way funnier!

So no, its not fake. Good detective skills though

  • @mbasketcballb diapers ><

  • @benbluesing No way, u serious?

  • I bet probably 99% of the people that listened to this dont even have a subwoofer even capable of such low frequencies. So even if it is true you wouldn't be able to experience it on crappy laptop, pc speakers or all them cheap hi-fi systems.

  • IT HURT MY EARS

  • They should get a group to go to some event only to line up outside the bathrooms. And watch what happens!

  • Lol i didn't shit myself but i jizzed myself...

  • OMG! My ass! :)

  • According to specialists, brown note's frequency is somewhere between 5 and 20 Hz which freqs we can't hear at all. It's a fake:)

  • I need to go to a folds concert, brown notes, chatroulette.... You can't go wrong

  • NARCOLEPSY. I love that song.

  • THERE is one... try 30HZ really loud

  • @gerudobombshell

i play 30hz all the time on my woofer when i want to rattle my windows

  • there is no brown note, but there is a note that will make you throw up if you play it loud enough

  • @wearecabbages what note?!

  • what note

  • Yeah, like there were certain notes that when I played them on my old keyboard that made it rattle itself.

  • BRB

  • sounds like a helicopter

  • there is no brown note people, it is not real

  • Comment removed

  • It should be noted, however, that sound at this frequency at a significant volume cannot be generated by television speakers, nor by most subwoofers, nor by the cassette-tape boombox used to generate the note for the test subject.

  • 4x10 bass cabs with tweeter suck

  • @tornfromgrace thats the idea...

    it was a fake..

  • ido belive tht it works but it diddint happen to me this time

  • good way to get unconstipated lol.

  • I GOTTA POO!!!!

  • just get a huge bass amp and a 5 string bass and tune it down and sit on it while you play. the note has to be low so it my move your bowls and youll shit.

  • it doesnt make u crap but i did fell my stomach turn :(

  • not a crap but i felt something happen

  • south park-Worldwide Recorder Concert

  • haha and they beat the NYC kids at a swear off

  • i tried the brown note forever but i never found it. but i would love to have been a part of any of these videos

  • What episode from south park talks about this brown note?

  • the episode is called world wide recorder concert....i can't remember what season it is its an earlier one like 3 or 4 i think

  • season 3 episode 17

  • farted at 3:07

  • There is actually a brown not ebut you need the right frequens or something but it didnt work for me i just felt a little wierd :P and farted

  • No, it does not exist, the brown note is a myth.

  • It is a myth, don't be silly ;)

  • No, infact quite the opposite is true. Science has determined the low frequencees does not affect your muscles to the extend that you would lose control over them.

  • can someone please explain what a brown note is? ahhhgg im confused

  • Its from South Park, meaning a note that can cause you to poop your pants

  • Its not 'from' south park. Its a theory that has been around for a while. and yes the theory is that if a certain note is played then it will cause people to loose control of their boules. It hasn't been proven yet but people keep trying.

  • It was found years ago in space that there is a hole that emits a frequency which can't be heard by human ears. It is like 80 octaves below a low F on the piano or something. It was also termed the Brown Note.

  • @BogGnarr you are o right. it actually from ww1 or ww2 it wa either the russians or the germans who thought it would be a good idea.......they tried to use it during war.

  • @BogGnarr nothing ever comes from southpark haha. southpark is satirical comedy in the form of a cartoon. they probably heard about the brown note and made an episode on it. anyone who thinks that shit comes from southpark is retarded. southpark makes fun of shit thats the point of the show

  • @TheZohaun there is 1 thing that comes from South Park: " o my god they killed Kenny!" (" YOU BASTARDS!")

  • @BogGnarr I thought it was written bowels.

Boules means balls in french, so unless you're trying to say that they loose control of their balls...

  • i believe in brown notes!

  • That vibration makes you feel a bit weird but there IS NO FUKCING BROWN NOTE (look it up, it has been discredited multiple times by scientists)

  • whats a brown note?

  • brown note = myth

    funny, but myth

  • its still a joke! like he would play the real brown note, comeon!

  • THERE IS NO FUCKING REAL BROWN NOTE.

They played it, but it doesn't work.

  • fuck u

  • Are you daft? its from south park.. the brown note and everyone craps themselves. its a joke!

  • no its not.its a frequncy so low that the vribrations make u shit yourself.with new technology it was to easy so they stoped doing it.the reaon u saw it on south park was because it was a funny thing about the past!!!!!! lll lll lll lll lll lll lll lll lll lllllllllll lllllllllll lllllllllll lllllllll lllllllll lllllllll

  • haha you're so full of shit

  • get it?

  • i don't think s/he gets it =P

  • no im not .its true

  • clearly he hasnt heard the brown note yet then lulz

  • i heard that the german's experimented with the brown note to use on the battle field during world war 2 to make the enemies shit themselves. but, they never did use it.

  • i didn't know what the brown note was, and then i felt nothing. only now that i've read the comments i know what it is. and that proves that it's not the real brown note, because unless you're expecting to feel something, you won't feel it :P

  • r u guys high?? i didnt feel anything

  • coz our speakers aint powerful enough to produce the real vibrations

  • ermm.. All speakers create vibrations. That's how you hear the sound.

  • yea but not at those notes

  • Subsonic vibrations that is so manny decibels low ordinary speakers can't take it, but the brown noise is more of a myth and if it really does work, I think its the state of mind of the actual person causes it.

  • Yeah he's right. It's a placeabo affect. You expected to feel strange, so you felt strange. Even though honestly i did feel vibrating in my throat.

  • For all of you who felt something, it's just the placebo effect. This isn't even the real brown note, the real one is about 10hz and that's lower than what we can hear.

  • HOLY SHIT it was pushing at my stomach

  • MY TUMMY HURTS

  • to those who felt something, you might've been affected simply by the placebo effect, if you held any skepticism then you weren't effected

  • That song made me an emo.. I want my money back.

    Lul

  • wtf was that i didnt see shit or nothing

  • it works!

  • It felt like someone was.... pushing on my gut.....

  • Well I'm fat, that's probably why it didn't work ^_^

  • I could feal my gut doing something...

  • ben folds is so beast.

  • 0_o ... no its not.. i mean they did use it in southpark but theyre not the ones who invented it..

  • the sound is sposed to resenate in your organs and cause u too crap ur self so any covering of ears was pointless, some speakers arent good enough to produce the sound in order for it to resenate inside you and although some speakers are amazing they dont produce it in a way that you will inevitably crap urself also if ur overweight slightly or overweight in certain areas i.e. FAT ASS it'll mute the sound before it gets to ur bowels

  • dude i was hearing the sound and all that happended was that a liitte down my stomech it was hurting really bad

  • omg that video made me shit my pants

  • really?

  • the brown note is going to be a song for my band now and the entire song will be that note haha

  • i don't understand...

  • nothing happened to me n i had my 5.1 speaker system on full blast

  • did u even listen to what they were sayin in the beginning

  • omg, my butt felt funky

  • Brainiac proved it though...

  • Brainiac Suck

  • mythbusters didnt actualy tackle the note. its not atualy a sound you can hear, its so low its below the hertz were able to get. its actualy just a really heavy pressure field. we did it in audio engineering class and eventhough you heard nothing the speaker was bouncing around and you could feel the air flying off the diaphram it took a lil while but after a min or so we all got nauseus and turned it off. Its not so much a BROWN note, more a chuck your guts up then possibly soil ur pants note.

  • mythbusters did cover that. they did exactly what you just explained.

  • eh...that actually made my stomach feel all....weird

  • what is he throwing off stage?

  • looked like t-shirts

  • Daipers

  • No such thing, Mythbusters said so. :P

  • duh

    its a prank

not supposed 2 be scientifically accurate

  • er was people in the backrond that got sick in that epasode

  • an english tv show like mythbusters - brainiacs - tested it and reckon it is true.

  • it was a prank, they were pretending. Ben folds had been playing the brown noise at all there concerts, noting ever happened, obviously its fake

  • can you fart the brown note pitch?

  • Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhahah. Sweet.

  • made me feel weird but i didnt crap myself

  • I feel like I just lost 30 pounds! :P

  • i belive its real in all but i highly doubt it can efect you through computer speakers???

  • congratulations youre not an idiot. the speakers with a woofer only go to about 50hz. the brown note is like 14hz. only high grade concert speakers or a woofer thats 3 feet wide could make that sound

  • Actually, size of the speaker really doesn't matter that much, as long as it can produce a 10Hz frequency ( Only REALLY high end speakers do )

  • For thr love of god, THIS IS NOT FAKE! I felt something after 5 seconds.

  • when it stopped i felt free ^^

  • I farted

  • ya the brown note is real, theres also a "puke" note, same general idea but instead of crapping you puke

  • you even if it wasnt fake (which it is.) you couldnt feel anything because you have to have very expensive hi tech subwoofers.

  • Holy shit guys i seriously felt something

  • the brown note is real. They used it a long time ago for war.

  • wow i had to take a crap

but that was before i watched the video

    does that still count

  • Yeah, my stomach was vibrating too, and I felt a bit of nausea, but no crapping my pants.

  • that sucked!

  • thats not the brown note. what u just played was a C as in the lowest C on a piano.the brown note is over an octave lower. As a matter of fact i can play the note u st played on my 6 string bass. Nothing weird happened.

  • i just heard that you can become scared and you cant breath easily because of that tone

  • yeah I sent it to my friend and he got freaked out at it and started breathing really fast and everything

  • when i heard that i couldnt breath well and i felt like i have to take a dump i swear! i was NOT scared but i really wanted to shit/fart!

  • OMG YOU PEOPLE! Stop saying you felt the brown note, or that the brown note was in the wrong key! The brown note is a myth, its not REAL!

Anyways, this is a great skit, should of had more people crap their pants though lol. The way you did it, it just seemed like that one guy had bowel problems.

  • whats the brown note on a guitar anyone know lol

  • lol at a consert *plays brown note* *everyone shits themselfs* hahah that would be fun

  • nearly killed my subwoofers

    haha

  • The brown note is supposed to be an inaudible super low F#. First of all I could hear it and second of all that was a C, not F#.

  • i farted

  • When I heard the sound I felt my stomach sort of vibrating... of course, that could of just been my mind playing tricks on me :P

  • yeah south park did a riff on this already, does he have anything original? Rock bands did parody-serious covers of rap songs before him too.

  • no one can actually here the brown note its between 5 to 9Hz below the audible limit(20Hz)(around 9Hz). And the reason ppl crap their pants is not because of hearing it but because of the low frequency resonance it sets up within the body.

  • wow, look at him, he's such a kid...love him :)

  • aw man, i crapped my pants

  • Ben Folds = God.

And I saw him attempt the Brown Note.

    I was in second row.

I was scared for my life.

  • too bad there it isn't true... there is no such note that makes you crap yourself, seen it on mythbusters :P

  • brown note = musical note and when you here this certain pitch, it makes you crap yourself.

  • wrong, you cant hear it, its below the human audible frequency, the vibrations are what make you "supposidly" shit your pants

  • Improv Everywhere rocks

    Ben Folds rocks

IE + BF = ULTIMATE ROCKAGE

  • ahahaha!

  • i dont get it

  • couldent see anything!

  • too funny
