I have seen most of the various/ numerous prints and copies of this classic film, many too dark and many too bright, but this one here looks great clear yet still remaining the darkness aspect of it all. What video/ DVD company released this copy??? I want to get it as I like the over-all look of this version of the print and film!

This was filmed in Evans City PA along with the Crazies in 1973 by George A. Romero

this movie scared the crap out of me when i was a little kid; i watched at a sleepover at a friends. spent the whole night *convinced* i heard zombies in the dark. i had to call my mom up and had her come get me! :-p

alot of people will say the acting isnt that good and seems kinda of fake but when ur look at the acting style of alot of movies around this time the style was just different then besides i thought the acting was perfectly fine

My stepmom could not sleep for years without thinking of this movie, then as an adult she watched it and could not believe she was ever afraid. By today's standards camp, but still one of the best

Love this movie! What a classic! Gotta watch it every October... as Halloween get closer!!
